In our minds, we believe you should always have a healthy dose of color around your home. A fresh color palette will bring new life to your space, and this summer we’re especially loving pink accents, vibrant tropical greens, and our forever favorite hue, blue. Here are our favorite ways to bring small accents of color into your home:
Find Your Pop of Color
When it comes to color, a little can go a long way in energizing a neutral room. We added one fun chair in Suzanne Kasler Signature Mandarin Linen to the subtle mix here and “POP!” – the whole room comes to life.
A Punch of Pink
Have we mentioned we love pink? There are few colors happier than pink, and we’re bringing magenta, hot pink, and blush into our rooms in large and small ways! Pink accents feel fresh, unexpected, and perfectly timed for Spring.
Be Bold with Blue
For practicality’s sake, most people would opt for the safe shades of tan or gray for their bench cushions, but on such a small piece, choose color instead. Blue goes with anything, and the dark hue will effortlessly hide stains and spills.
A Classic Color Combination
Navy and red are a classic combination, and we love evoking a nautical theme without being too campy. If you have lots of navy already, considering adding in some bright cherry red. It’s the perfect compliment to blue and warms up a cooler palette.
Go for Green
Tropical green and botanical prints are on our radar in a big way, but even if you aren’t up for a botanical print on your upholstered pieces, consider bringing in some greenery! Indoor plants and even greenery foraged from the yard can give your home office, living room, or kitchen a whole new life. Don’t worry if you don’t have a green thumb, we have plenty of faux options for you to get the same look.
Accessories
It’s easy to ignore what an impact accessories can have on your space. After all, they’re often small and can go unnoticed in a big room surrounded by other pieces. But when you give all of your accessories a larger color story, you can make a big impact on your space! Take this living room. All of the furniture pieces are neutral, but with a pillows, lamp slips, and drapery panels, the entire space reads blue-and-white.
Most importantly, don’t be afraid to bring color into your room, whether it’s on pieces large or small.

Does the color of the furniture have to be the same in each room? What colors match grey and white?
I have bought a townhome, grey tile floors, white kitchen cabinets, and light grey carpet upstairs?
I am afraid to Branch out, or choose different colors in each room
Mallory Thomas
Deborah,
All good questions! Furniture color does not have to be the same. Rather, mixing and matching patterns, colors, and finishes can be a great way to liven up a room. We also have a blog post with tips for mixing wood tones that I think you would find helpful. As far as color, grey and white are neutrals so you really have a blank canvas for almost any accent color. To ease your decorating worries, I suggest connecting with our Design Services team here. They’ll be able to help you with colors, furniture, and everything in between!
Happy Decorating,

I am interested in an outdoor.shade sail! It looks like you have these, question, do you install. Do you have store where we can come in to, to look at your product?
Caroline McDonald
Thomas,
Unfortunately, I don’t think we have any sun sails, but we do have large umbrellas that could serve the same purpose.
We do have some stores where our sales team can walk you through our options. See our store locations here.
