Awesome !I love this Vintage Marquee Plaque. Our Initial looks awesome in our office. It has that vintage look I feel is very attractive in most decors. This would look beautiful in just about any room. Soooooooo glad I ordered it. It is not at all heavy, as I assumed it would be. It is just the right size and not overbearing. Great size, color, designThe initial has a substantial size and I love the weathered grey color. The graphical element that this initial brings to our family room really adds personality. The edges of the letter are slim sheet metal and could be a hazard around small kids so make sure it's out of reach and secure. Get one before they're gone!

Affordable designI ordered the letters L, O, V, E and place it on my wall in the hallway of my home. I saw the design concept from a different retailer but could not bring myself to pay the price point. Ballard prices afforded me to obtain the design I desired at reasonable prices. The installation was a bit tricky for some of the letters (I wish it came with a stencil where to place the screws. I ended up creating my own) but nothing too difficult that I could not figure out on my own.

Exactly as expected!Great big letter (I ordered the letter G). It arrived just as expected (if not a bit sooner). It is definitely metal but not at all sharp. It looks just like in the catalog and is definitely a nice statement piece. The color is a slightly muted gold but it is what I was looking for. Very elegant and fun (at the same time!). The only thing I would recommend would be to put a felt piece on the back of the letter as our hall door causes it to rattle a bit (it is hung on the wall close by) when I open and close it. At least it is not a heavy item to worry about causing greater holes (so somewhat lightweight also). I am happy with my purchase.

Sharp edgesI very much like the color (gray/blue) and style of this letter but the metal edges were sharp and I got a "paper cut" style cut while hanging it. Because I used this in the playroom/TV area, I hung this several inches higher than I really wanted in order to keep this at a height kids couldn't get at it. The letter plaque was easy to hang and I am very happy with how it looks.

Dorm roomI bought the letter "R" for my daughter's dorm room. It's a great large statement piece and both she and her roomate have names that start with the letter "R". However because it is a metal, it wouldn't stay up with command strips (even the ones that were in the correct weight range for the letter). She was disappointed because it looked great while it was up. I am going to hang it in her bedroom at home.

Poor quality, cheap lookingI purchased a G with the intent of purchasing the rest of the letters of our last name if I liked the product. Unfortunately, the G is going back, and no other letters will be purchased. When purchasing the G, there was no photo of it to view; it was missing in the line up of the alphabet. If I had been able to see a photo of it, I probably wouldn't have ordered it, as the serif is overly large, and the crossbar of the G is so low it looks cartoonish rather than classic. The finish is meant to look weathered or vintage, but just looks cheap, and the material feels and even looks flimsy. I wanted to use this in a room with a mixture of high/low priced items, but they looked too low to match. Very disappointing!
