Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply Beautiful! My first, pre-lit tree purchase was a success! I did copious research and settled on this one because it's Ballard Design, I liked variation in lights and branches, and the other product review (thank you Dahlia Rose!). I completely concur with the ease of putting it up although it is pretty heavy. Once up, the lights come on and all branches deploy! Finessing the position of the individual branches is easy. It's so pretty that I haven't even put ornaments up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'll sing Christmas carols all day about this tree! This tree is phenomenal! When Nat King Cole was singing, O Christmas Tree, I'm quite certain he was referring to this gem. I have had some real doozies of artificial Christmas trees, but you will not find that to be the case here... The ease of putting this up was astonishing, as well as the added pleasure of not having to find and join each tier with electrical cords in order for it to light up (something I didn't even realize when I purchased this!). I have nearly finished the fluffing with my complimentary snazzy gloves and there are no openings or spaces! The two different types of needles offer a realistic pizazz and a luxurious quality. The three different "vintage" lights are sort of romantically muted and old timey, which offers such a unique look. I was concerned that the lights gave off a slight orange hue in the daylight, but as dusk fell, they completely lost that and now glow like the stars. I was so thrilled to have discovered this tree, and I am usually not one to purchase without there first being at least one review, but I'm relieved that I took the plunge! I had to hop on my computer to let others know not to skip out on this as well. Merry Christmas!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shabby Chic Tree This is a very pretty tree, but not sure it's for me. I loved the three-bulb idea, and it does give a great effect. Unfortunately in my opinion it's coupled with the green cord for the "large" bulbs being very visible. I think it's meant to add charm -- like an outdoor tree strung with outdoor lights, and I can see that being a big plus for some. Personally, I don't like seeing wires and I also prefer more lights close in to to the trunk. I previously purchased the Ballard Noble Fir and in retrospect it's probably more my kind of tree -- about 3500 more lights (on the 9') and ornaments hang better on it. That said, after a few years there were so many issues with the lights that we stripped it of its lights last year (year #5 with the tree), and then this year I decided to buy this vintage tree instead. I suspect it will continue to grow on me. It is really pretty, just not as traditional as I'm used to. A couple other notes. It does require "fluffing" to puff out the branches. Also, on mine one of the limbs was broken off when it arrived, but I haven't called customer service yet. It wasn't a major branch so I have it just resting in the tree right now and it isn't noticeable that it's not connected. Huge plus: The trunk's lighting system. Much easier than tinkering with cords for each tree segment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Although beautiful and easy to assemble, this tree is different than pictured. Although beautiful and easy to assemble, this tree is different than pictured. After much research of Christmas trees, I fell in love with this one because it limbs went to the floor. Needless to say, the limbs end 18 inches from the floor--even after my husband, mother, and interior designer neighbor attempted to acheive the look pictured online. I called and ordered a second one, thinking the new one might more resemble the picture online, but when assembled next to each other, they both fell short. Ballard Designs did work with me and were very understanding. I only wish they would produce exactly as they photographed it. It would have alleviated much commotion.
