After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:

Service elevator restrictions
Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.

Winter sparkleMinnesota has dark winters. I have two orbs placed in planters at the entrance and one on the deck on the backside of the home. They add a festive twinkle throughout the winter months. I wish I had the option to plug them in directly instead of just battery power.

Twinkling orbs, lovely energy hogsThese twinkling orbs are lovely! Yes, they twinkle. I bought the smaller size, which was still pricey on sale. I bought two and placed them each atop an urn as shown in the stock photo. It takes 4 D batteries. After a few weeks outside on the timer option (6 hours on per day), the new batteries were depleted. So, these orbs are energy intensive to keep them on, especially outside in cold temperatures. Note, the website description says they're outdoor safe, but the tag that came with the item says that they are not. Which is true?

Lighting Issues on Two OrderMy first order had one strand of lights that wouldn't turn off. I replaced the order, tested it upon receipt, packed up the original and sent it back. That evening I went to turn off the replacement orb and none of the lights would turn off. This is a hassle and such a waste of batteries. Now it sits as decoration without the lights. Way too expensive to have a simple on / off feature inoperable.

Large ord very dimly lights upI put out the beautiful orbs 2 weeks ago but did not start lighting them until a week ago. They are so pretty at night and seemed to be working fine. Then last night , the large orb turned to just a dull light with no twinkling. I thought, oh no, I am having a party Wed night and wanted to show them off. The small orb worked fine. So, what is the problem? They have just been running on the timer for one week. What shall I do? I will be calling Ballard Designs today,if I have time while getting ready for guests. I am so disappointed. As you know, I paid full price for these. HELP!

Twinkle orbsAlthough beautiful, they don’t work. The timer setting went out within 10 days on one of them now 3 days later the timer function went out on the second one. EVERYTHING comes with timers these days, why can’t you get this function to work.

Awful qualitySince ordering in November, Ballard has had to send me FOUR replacements. None have worked properly. They turn on and off randomly throughout the day and night, some strands won’t turn off at all, etc. Thankfully, Ballard has the best customer service and they have fully refunded
me for the order. I wanted to love these.

Sadly, can't recommendI have wanted to purchase these for a long time and finally did. They look great and I was thrilled. Sadly, both are defective after just a week. The batter pack on one doesn't work - I can't turn it off, so I have take out the batteries every day. The other orb worked for about 4 days, then most of the lights went out and only a few remain. The frames are nice but I hate that I have to get new lights and string them myself. Especially for the price!

Twinkle OrbsIt is a great orb. I ordered two for each side of door outside. When they arrived, one was broken. The wire had come loose from the orb battery pack. I took the orb that worked outside and the lighting was too dim. I hardly could see that the lights were on in the dark. That said, I decided to keep the orbs because they are hard to find. I will be taking the lights off and putting on bright lights for outside.
