We have a small house, and the out-of-sight storage (especially for TV-related equipments and cords) really calmed our multi-use living/family/TV room down. I knew we wouldn't be getting the equivalent of a stained solid wood custom built in, and of course scratches and some missed stained areas reveal the "fake" aspects that made this affordable. But it's been a game changer in how our main room looks, and we're very pleased.

The console was perfect for the space, so I ordered it, hoping that the finish color would come close to matching the paint color of my other trim surfaces. The paint matched perfectly, and every other aspect of this order was good as well. It was shipped within several days, and arrived by truck with two friendly individuals who took great care in unboxing the console at the street. The driver inspected the console before he brought it in, saying it must pass "his wife's test" before he'd even consider bringing it in. The console was in perfect condition, measured exactly what's indicated in the sales specs, and ready to take its place after the TV wires were properly routed. I have a 55" television, but a little larger set would have also fit nicely. I could NOT be any more pleased. Thank you Ballard!

We had a minor issue with the first delivery, but on the phone less than 5 mins with customer service and they had everything sorted out! Wonderful experience.

The left bookcase arrived in a timely manner, however the color does not perfectly match the cream color of the console. Right bookcase is not expected until late June or July. Not sure what color the right bookcase will be when it arrives!

I was happy to pay more for this beautiful solid unit. Another plus is that it came assembled. It is a lovely light cream color. A little on the pricey side, so I waited for it to go on sale. Very happy with this purchase!

I have lots of pieces from Pottery Barn and this is my first substantial piece from Ballard. The look of PB furniture may be very similar but the quality from Ballard far supersedes.

The dark walnut stain finishing process left numerous and very visible blemishes on the exterior's right side of the cabinet. The return and replacement process for our cabinet was excellent. Our second delivery, while we decided to keep it, was also very disappointing. Again, someone was missing in action during the finishing steps of this cabinet. The pre-drilled shelf adjustment holes were not aligned in the glass door enclosed center cabinet area, and the holes were totally missing from the left side door cabinet. Had to drill my own holes to make the shelves set level in the center shelf area and also drilled my own holes to make the left door shelved area even usable for shelf placement. Our four star rating goes to the return process folks, the delivery people and the broader and general great quality of Ballard Designs' products. PLEASE MAKE SOME CHANGES IN THE QUALITY CONTROL PROCESS OF THIS MEDIA CONSOLE PRODUCT!

Rated 4 out of 5 by M Clark from Media Center The Walnut Tuscan Wide Media Console fit perfectly and looks very nice. However, it was slightly damaged. The door on the right side was warped and would not align and close. My husband had to take the door off re drill the holes for the hinges and reattach the door. It took him about 1 1/2 hours. The delivery people were excellent. There were a few minor scratches.
