Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality remains excellent over many years. We purchased the Tuscan media console and hutch to replace the Tuscan center bookshelf piece we had purchased 13 years ago. We needed a wider piece to accommodate a larger TV. We kept the two side bookshelf units we already had, that matched the center piece. We are amazed that the new piece fits our arrangement as if it had always been there, and the Tuscan cream color is exactly the same. We had worried that in 13 years, maybe a dye lot had changed, and the pieces wouldn't match. The new piece is beautiful, and the glass doors give it a more finished look than the previous bookcase. Our new 55" TV fits perfectly into the new space. The piece is well constructed and looks as if it was custom built. The delivery went very smoothly, and the men were very polite and competent. We are completely happy with our experience from Ballard Design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better in person than in the catalog! This piece replaced a smaller middle cabinet we bought 12 years ago as part of the 3 piece Tuscan bookcase collection. The new media piece is gorgeous and accommodates our new 55” TV. Amazingly, the cream color matches the 2 side bookshelves perfectly, even after 12 years. The quality is superb, and the details, such as beveled glass doors, fluted frame finishes and weathered brass handles, lend a custom look. Completely satisfied!

We purchased a left sided bookcase with it which added a nice touch for decor. It is also a tall piece which we needed! Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Smashing Media Console and Hutch I ordered the Tuscan Media Console and Hutch (in the Tuscan Cream color), which arrived well-packed and essentially already assembled. The deliverymen unpacked both units, placed them in the desired location, then hurried away, taking most of the cardboard and filler with them. After unpacking the shelves which fit inside the base and the single shelf in the hutch, my husband and I made the mistake of adjusting the position of our new furniture. The hutch fell on us, as it had not been bolted to the base (ouch!). We then found two metal brackets in the packing that must be meant for that purpose, though they seem unduly small. We intend to purchase larger brackets and install them. In the meantime, we have the hutch balanced on the base, which is acceptable temporarily since there are no kids in our household to crash into it. Apart from that, we are very happy as the beauty and utility exceeded our expectations. The item is heavy, rock solid and of impressive dimensions, has handsome molding across the top and on the front edges, and beveled glass doors. There is oodles of storage space for components and more, and the shelves adjust to several positions. I only wish we had enough available wall space to add a matching Tuscan bookcase on each side!

My husband was happy that the remotes work when the glass doors are closed. It arrived quickly and the delivery people were great. Brought it inside and placed it where I wanted. Took the large boxes and packaging with them. No mess.
