It adds a finishing touch to the Dehavilland 2-Drawer Console upon which it stands. I will rotate lamp shades throughout the year, echoing the chandelier shades in the adjacent room. While the lamp is completely lovely, I would actually prefer it to be 3-4" shorter - more proportional to this particular setting. Lamp designers, can you hear me??? Just a thought . . .

I use 380 lumen (about 40W) soft white LED bulbs and the look is just bright enough and elegant and serene. Ballard's quality is always impeccable and I knew these lamps would be beautiful but I love them even better than expected.
