Suzanne Kasler Emilyn Hand Knotted Rug is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 67.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wool Area Rug It’s a beautiful elegant rug with muted colors It’s in my dining room where it’s more formal looking but it is very versatile and can go anywhere. Recommend a rug pad to go with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality, good price point Beautiful rug at a great price point. My decorator suggested a rug nearly triple this price that looks almost identical. Having 2 young boys and a German Shepard makes me cringe at the decorator's rug price...thankful for BD for having this one. Great quality rug and the best part is that it doesn't shed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful! We bought this a few months ago and it is the perfect rug. Looks exactly like photos. Really subtle and brightens a room

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Pleased Rug is beautiful. Very soft, faded colors. Just what I was looking for!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely The rug is beautiful. I’m not sure how well it’s going to hold up. It had already picked in a few places and I have followed instructions on vacuuming it. I have high hopes that it will be durable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not quite what I expected! This rug is just ok. Disappointed in the coloring of the rug. The photo shows more blue and beiges but the rug I received is mostly gray and beige. I’m guessing the gray is supposed to be the blue depicted in the photo. I was hoping for more blue! And it feels like an indoor/outdoor rug. For a hand knotted rug it is thin and feels very synthetic. It works where I placed it but it’s not my favorite and I will more than likely change it out eventually.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well made rug Very soft and well made rug. A bit darker than the photo but getting used to that. It is also quite thick as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Runner The rug itself is beautiful. I was hoping for a thicker rug. But it lays beautifully and I love the colors

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not As Bright As It Looks Online This is a very nice rug, soft, but doesn't look much like the online picture. It's more washed-out looking than I was hoping for, and the base color looks more tan than ivory. Sadly, I have to return it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It’s a beige rug with no color Colors are very muted and different from picture. The overall impression is a bland beige rug. It is very plush and comfortable to walk on.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent rug, not sure if it will last. The rug looks great and fits its purpose well. There’s no substantial backing, however, and so it tends to curl up on the edges and move. I’m unsure as to whether it will last, anfter only a few weeks there are aleady signs of wear.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 6x8 rug Colors are more muted than picture shows. It sheds and the edges are very thick therefore does not lay flat

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Suzanne Kaiser hand knotted runner Nice thickness and comfy on your feet. Very light in color and shows the design too faintly. Would have preferred it to be more intense. The bigger problem is the ends of the runner are rolled too thick and don’t lay flat.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Blurred print and colors The pattern is very muted ( colors faded) therefore the print design is not clear , and colors are a blur of beige!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Undecided So Far The rug is very attractive and looks beautiful in my living room - very classy look. However, it's rather thin so I recommend a thick rug pad for better comfort (I used a thin one and it feels hard underfoot). It's also very difficult to keep clean because the yarn knots are prominent and hold onto my dog's hairs even when I vacuum. I purchased the Sculley run at the same time for a different room, and that rug is 5 stars; it's also 3x the price but I feel like it will wear better over time than the Emilyn.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Emilynhand knotted rug Rug is okay. Very faint colors. I bought a different rug and moved this one to a utility room

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Design not very vivid The design looks so bright in the image, but when I got it, the design is so vague, and colors not as vivid as picture. I had ordered a blue couch set, and was excited about this rug coordinating with it. I am disappointed in the dullness of the colors. I will say this is my first wool rug, so maybe if I would have owned previous ones, I would know to expect this. It is a nice rug, but just wish the colors were more vibrant. You can barely make them out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I had hoped for This rug is a beautiful print however it is considerably lighter than what they show in store on the samples. To light for my high traffic area and it arrived with several snags in the rug which is thin to begin with so wear and durability was a concern. Thin to the point that the ends of the rug are considerably thicker and were raised/folding upwards compared to the rug itself. You would need a very thick pad to make it lay right. Not impressed. Sent it back.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Snags Snags easily. I noticed rather early on that some of the knitting was snagging and lifting.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as nice as it appears in photos Very disappointed in quality. Loose threads have popped up. Poor weaving and colors are pretty faded and not very distinct.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed Unfortunately, I had to return this rug. When you vacuum the rug an obscene amount of fiber comes out. Within 1 week of having my new expensive rug it had pulls coming out of it. I'm very sad because the color style of the rug go so well with my home.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as pictured It looks like there is a bit of cream or ivory in the pictures. When I received the rug and unrolled it, I thought Ballard Designs made a mistake and sent me the wrong rug. The rug is much darker than pictured on the site. It is a taupey beige color overall with gray, not blue in it. It is also a loose weave rug. I'm very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Quality Owned this rug for 3 mos. and it's still shedding so much that it (more than) fills the entire vacuum canister with 1 sweep. Tufts of lint also get stuck in vacuum rollers and head each sweep. If clothes touch the rug, they are covered in lint. Wish I didn't buy this rug, really disappointed in quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Ends don't lay flat even with a rug pad. Material balls up with No foot traffic. Design is barely detectable...too light color!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not hold up While the design of this rug is very nice, it does not hold up well. The wool sheds and pills. I have had these rugs for less than one year and I am looking to replace them already. Purchased two runners November 2016 - poor quality.
