Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.

  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

However, it's rather thin so I recommend a thick rug pad for better comfort (I used a thin one and it feels hard underfoot). It's also very difficult to keep clean because the yarn knots are prominent and hold onto my dog's hairs even when I vacuum. I purchased the Sculley run at the same time for a different room, and that rug is 5 stars; it's also 3x the price but I feel like it will wear better over time than the Emilyn.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Design not very vivid The design looks so bright in the image, but when I got it, the design is so vague, and colors not as vivid as picture. I had ordered a blue couch set, and was excited about this rug coordinating with it. I am disappointed in the dullness of the colors. I will say this is my first wool rug, so maybe if I would have owned previous ones, I would know to expect this. It is a nice rug, but just wish the colors were more vibrant. You can barely make them out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed Unfortunately, I had to return this rug. When you vacuum the rug an obscene amount of fiber comes out. Within 1 week of having my new expensive rug it had pulls coming out of it. I'm very sad because the color style of the rug go so well with my home.

When I received the rug and unrolled it, I thought Ballard Designs made a mistake and sent me the wrong rug. The rug is much darker than pictured on the site. It is a taupey beige color overall with gray, not blue in it. It is also a loose weave rug. I'm very disappointed.

Tufts of lint also get stuck in vacuum rollers and head each sweep. If clothes touch the rug, they are covered in lint. Wish I didn't buy this rug, really disappointed in quality.
