The metal tubing is a bit suspect on this line as water can collect inside and there can be issues with the outer paint coat popping off. It has not happened on this piece yet but I have many other pieces in this exact line and have some issues on those.

The firmness and feel of the cushions doesn't bother me - we don't sit on them for any long periods - however I agree with other reviewers that the color is difficult for outside. The white is ALWAYS dirty. The one good thing is that when I washed them last fall, convinced the dirt and mold wouldn't come out, they came out of my washer almost spotless. (The bad thing is getting them back on the actual cushion - this makes frequent, and necessary, cleanings a big job, and I dread spending the money to replace the covers one day.) But overall happy with it!
