You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries


  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful frame, but cushions do not last I bought this set 2 years ago. We hardly sit outside on them, and I store the cushions for most of the year. One cushion split last year and another split this year. Definitely not sunbrella. The cushion replacements are not sold individually, so look to spend another grand if you need to update the cushions every couple of years.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looked great for a couple of seasons I've had this set for 3 seasons and have always brought my cushions in during the fall/winter and cleaned them up each spring. I was pleased with the quality and how well the cushions cleaned up previously. However this year, every single cushion ripped at the seams. I have a coordinating set of chairs and cushions from a different vendor in excellent condition after the same time frame. I was hopeful by spending a bit more, the furniture would last longer but no such luck with these very expensive cushions. You are better off to buy something much lower cost if you have to replace every few years.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Replacement cushions are not the same I really like this sofa - I bought 2 - and also purchased Taupe replacement cushions for both. The back cushion is just a pillow - it is not constructed like the cream cushions that come with the sofa . They do no have ties of any kind to keep them in place. The result is guests hitting their head on the back of the sofa and constantly struggling to keep the pillow up far enough to protect them. I am very disappointed I spend nearly $1000 on these cushions; but my experience with the base cream made a darker color essential

Rated 2 out of 5 by from So disappointing I'm so disappointed with this purchase. I bought two sofas and 2 chairs in the white frame. The frame itself is stylish and a nice weight - very good looking. The set is fine, unless you actually want to sit on it. The cushions are terrible, so uncomfortably hard. The white is tough outside, when leaves blow and they streak on it. I'm sure it will wash well, but I don't look forward to washing the fabric weekly. To purchase new cushion covers will be a fortune - I'm totally disappointed in the quality of the seats and this purchase overall.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as advertised Ballard Designs represents that the sofa has replacement cushions available. I bought two sofas two years ago and one of the cushions has split. I tried to order a replacement cushion only to find out that they are not available in the color that the manufacturer sent. Therefore, if I want to repair the cushion, I have to buy six sets. Really poor representation. The sofas are fine. The cushions will need replacing...so proceed with caution if you order this line.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not comfortable I purchased this sofa because I loved the design, but was disappointed with the feel of the cushions. They are not comfortable to sit on and the material is quite rough. They were supposed to come with tan cushions, which did not go with my decor, so I purchased an additional set in the stripe fabric, as well as several pillows. When it arrived, it came with "basic stone" cushions and I see the website description has been changed. If I had known that I would not have purchased the extra set of cushions. My understanding is that it is not returnable because I purchased the extra cushions which are considered custom.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TERRIBLE Cushions I am very disappointed in the look and feel of the cushions that came with the sofa and arm chair. They are very thin and not firm, the fabric wrinkles very easily, and they don't seem to have the best outdoor material as it shows every water spot after it rains. As a frequent Ballard Designs customer, I am shocked by the high price tag/ poor quality item. Save your money and find something else.
