Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries


  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from the chair is very comfortable We ordered this chair to match an existing Stratford chair. We approved the fabric sample but the finished chair did not match the fabric sample so we are having it redone. The service and delivery was excellent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Chair, long wait, but well worth the wait... I highly recommend the Stratford Chair. There was a long wait for the chair more than I was told at the beginning of my purchase, but once you receive the chair you will love it. The people who delivered the chairs to my home were also very friendly and helpful with set up of chairs and removal of boxes. Chair is very comfortable and well made. I chose the checked material and is also of good quality. In my case though, the finished product did not arrive in a couple weeks as originally told but took more like six months. Hence the four star rating for the wait.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect selection for the room! We purchased the chair for our bedroom and it fits the bill. The workmanship and look are true to form. And the size was perfect for our master bedroom. We had to wait a bit longer than expected for the product but when it arrived, we were pleased.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great looking but has some issues I bought 2 of the Stratford chairs and have encountered similar problems mentioned in other reviews. The back cushions do not hold their shape and feathers are constantly coming out of the fabric. One chair has developed a creaking sound from the frame when you sit down. In addition the seam on one of the back cushions has ripped, exposing the white pillow beneath. Overall, when the chair is properly fluffed it looks great. Once you've sat in it it looks messy. These were purchased less than a year ago. Would I repurchase? Probably not.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Key flaws in chair design For the price, this chair is a major disappointment. This is something I would expect if I paid $200-300. The back cushion because of the "down" stuffing does NOT retain its shape and ends up looking like a lumpy mess. The upholstery at the back where the chair arm is tucked under the back of the seat either was never fully secure or has come loose showing the padding below. Overall this was a real let down as I have purchased other pieces from Ballard with no problem. On the positive - the size is great for a shorter person and firm, but comfortable to sit on. It just needs a bit better construction in my opinion.
