Great purchaseI purchased this stand last year for our Christmas stockings and it held 6 stockings with no problem. During the off season I use this stand to hold 2 throw blankets in my family room. Price is good for the quality. Nice cast iron base. Will be purchasing another for my grandchildrens stockings.

Very happy with purchase.The stocking holder is great! I use it to display cross stitched stockings. It looks traditional and the base is nice and heavy so the stockings won't tip it over even when they are filled.

Great ProductI feel in love with idea of this sturdy stocking holder last year and bought 2 of them after the holidays and never even opened a box until early December this year. The item was as described and went together well but a bit lopsided but it was an easy fix.
I didn't realize that as study as the product is it should only be recommended to be placed only on a hard surface. It is unstable on a plush carpeted area.
With a regular visiting toddler I was concerned for her safety.
So, changed it up from a stocking holder to a Christmas card display..... it was a great focal point for guests who saw their card displayed.
As card maker myself, I am going to find a way to display my everyday cards and never put this item back in the box like a Christmas ornament.

Well worth the money!I have been looking for a nice stocking stand for two years, with no luck. Everything I had seen so far was cheap looking and flimsy. I resorted to looking online, and found this one; and based on the great reviews, I decided to give the large one a try even though it was a little more than I had planned on spending. Well...It is beautiful and I am extremely happy with it, and it is well worth the money! It's a very sturdy/heavy piece that makes a statement in the room. Because it is so beautiful, I don't want to just use it at Christmas time for stockings. One reviewer stated that they use it to put throw blankets on as well, so that's what I did and it looks fabulous!

Finally bought thisI have been looking at this piece for years and finally pulled the trigger. I don't have a mantel so have had to get creative as to where the "stockings are hung". Although a little pricey, this piece is very solid and displays the stockings beautifully. One warning - this piece is extremely heavy.

Sturdy well balanced itemI've had this stocking holder for two years now and it still looks brand new. Its VERY sturdy and looks great with our stockings hung on it by our tree (we dont have a fireplace), it will be used for many years to come. Assembly was as easy as attaching a washer and screw. For the off season, I use it for holding throw blankets.

So Many Uses!Perfect during the holiday for stockings, but in the off season, I love to hang my jewelry and small wristlet bags on it. It's very versatile, strong and everything's in plain sight when I'm getting dressed. It takes less than 5 minutes to attach the base to the stand. I Highly recommend you try it!

Perfect for Stockings!LOVE hanging my kid's stockings on here instead of the mantel. Looks great next to the fireplace. I believe I have the large one and hang two on each side. Christmas morning Santa puts their stockings next to their present from him under the tree.

Who needs a fireplace?I grew up in a home when a traditional Christmas stocking morning. I have struggled for decades with stocking holders that never could support a full stocking. I ordered 2 of the floor stocking holders and I love them. They are strong, sturdy, and slender. Ideal for any space.

Extremely heavy and solid!Should hold whatever heavy gifts fit inside stockings, stand is extrememly heavy and solid. Assembled easily but some washers were too small in diameter, we used what fit and it's holding together fine.

Crooked and poor weldingI do not recommend this product. The only reason I am not returning it is because I don’t want to repackage it and pay for shipping. It is definitely not worth the price. The welding is done sloppily, and the standing post is crooked when attached.

Disappointed!I was trying to replace my beloved stocking holder that was damaged in a move. What I got was the larger version, which was a surprise, as I was not given on option with ordering. After assembling it, I found the arms are not straight with the base. Extremely disappointed.

Poorly madeStraight out of the box the paint had sizable chips in it. I attached the support bar to the base and it stands noticeably crooked. I attempted to attach the screw to hold the top piece on but there is a small piece of irremovable metal welded in front of the hole so the screw goes in crooked and cannot attach. This could be a very nice piece if properly made.

Crooked!I like the idea of this stand as we have no mantle. I searched around and found very few options for stands. This stand would have been great if it wasn’t CROOKED! In the box there are two pieces - (1) the leg with cross bar and (2) the base. When the leg/bar is screwed into the base, it stands obviously crooked. It’s solid metal so there isn’t anything we can do to adjust it. Construction of the stand is really sloppy. This is surprising to me considering the few parts that make it up. I do not recommend this product.

Don't waste your moneyPurchased this last Christmas as my new home didn't have a deep enough mantle to hang stockings. The whole unit is put together with literally one screw welded into the top piece. I left it out after Christmas since it's really too big to store and realized that the screw had come unwelded from the base and essentially the unit was broken. It's expensive for what it is and very poorly made.
