Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from elegant, streamlined upholstered bed I love this bed. It arrived very well packed and in perfect condition. It was very easy to assemble and if you knew my manual skills and my husband's ,or lack thereof, you would realize how remarkable that is. To be able to say that a king size bed is low key and blends in nicely with the rest of the room is also quite a statement. I ordered it in natural linen and it goes quite nicely with my ballard settee and chair with ottoman in lighter linen. I would definitely recommend this bed and ballard in general to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hotel Chic design at its finest We bought this bed in King size with Taupe Sunbrella Fabric. It took a couple of months which seemed reasonable. It was easy to assemble in less than an hour. It has a nice high headboard and simple lines. It reminds me of something you might find in an upscale hotel. I like that it is somewhat masculine yet soft and feminine too.

So I knew once I got married this would be one of the first things I would buy. I didnt even shop around I know BD would give me everything I was looking for.(I have ordered a number of things before) It didnt really take that long to come in ..maybe like a month and a half, BD let me know at every step where this bed was,( when and where it was getting upholstered, etc.) It came well packaged and my husband and father -in -law put it together in no time! I absolutely love our bed and I really dont ever see me getting rid of it! like I said, it was everything I have always wanted! :)

The reason the bed takes some time to be delivered is because each bed is custom made based on your specifications upon ordering. At the time I was anxious to get the bed after ordering it, but it was well worth the wait. I'm in love with my new Squire Untufed Bed! I had been looking everywhere for the perfect classic, sophisticated bed and low and behold it was at Ballard Designs. I would recommend this bed to anyone looking for a modern and clean look as it's very reasonably priced and the quality and design are great. This bed definitely exceeded my expectations and it's absolutely gorgeous in person!!! Additionally, the packaging was great in making sure my off-white bed had no issues arriving in PERFECT condition. The assembly of the bed was very easy, too! Again, I am in love with my bed and highly recommend it! Thank you Ballard Designs! You just made the first big part (and most important) of my bedroom redecorating project very promising :)
