If you're not happy, we're not happy. That's where our "Love It or Send It Back" policy comes in. If you're dissatisfied with your Ballard purchase for any reason, you can return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or full refund* (excluding Shipping & Processing fees).

You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • Items are unloaded by the driver and placed inside the first-floor doorway, garage, or covered area of your choice.
  • If the home is a multi-dwelling building, the items will be delivered inside the residence.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

I needed some additional kitchen storage but the awkward corner I wanted to use did not seem to work with any china cabinet or corner cabinet. This fits perfectly. I put it together by myself, very easy. I love that the shelves are adjustable because my mixer would not have fit otherwise. I also like that I could use one shelf for cookbooks without the need for boookends. My only advice is to unpack it outside or in the garage because the styrofoam packing easily breaks and gets that styrofoam snow everywhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from constructed very well, beautiful So difficult to find a tall narrow piece that is beautifully constructed, sturdy and gives a touch of depth to an awkward spot without breaking the bank! We have it on the side of the chimney that runs up our 18 foot vaulted ceiling to display photos, etc and it gives such warmth and a home kind of feel to what was a bit of a cold space. Very easy to assemble, the wood is distressed slightly on the shelves and the color is a warm not dark finish. The metal frame is sturdy and a true black, not greyish or powdery looking. My first piece from Ballard, certainly not my last!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great solution - attractive tall narrow bookcase Loved the cherry wood distressed shelves, looked great with the metal-pipe structure - took under an hour to assemble with good instructions. Love the top half being slimmer than the bottom half. It fit perfectly in a tight space in a small room to store necessary reference books, held the weight, etc.. The only down side is the Styrofoam packing which protected the assembly perfectly with no damage in shipping - BUT there were tiny Styrofoam particles that needed to be vacuumed - larger Styrofoam pieces were placed in bags for disposal - a little messy but we dealt with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed! I had already gotten the Sonoma Bookcase a couple of years ago and loved it so have been debating getting the Tower for my kitchen for quite some time. I finally decided to get it and am so glad I did! It is very easy to put together, has flexibility on how to configure the shelves and makes a great place for my cookbooks, small appliances, fruit bowl, etc. allowing me to clear things off my counter without taking up too much wall space. I would highly recommend either piece.
