Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Standard Shipping

Smaller items are shipped via standard ground service. In-stock items will generally arrive in 3-7 business days.

Some bulky or heavy items have an additional $20-$40/item oversized handling fee.

Please note: Items ordered at the same time may not be delivered together. Allow three additional days if your order includes personalized items.

How do you calculate standard shipping charges?

Orders under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value. Orders $200.01+ will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

All shipping charges are based on the original retail price of the product prior to any discounts being applied.

*Orders placed in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico & US Virgin Islands will have additional costs.

Expedited Shipping

For faster delivery and additional fee, we offer Next Business Day and Two Business Day express service. Express orders received by 4 pm EST are shipped the same day.

Truck Delivery

Larger items are delivered via a truck delivery partner and will generally be available for delivery 2-3 weeks after shipping.

Please note: We provide two options for Truck delivery service, Threshold and In-Home. See below for specifics.

All items delivered by Truck Delivery- Threshold will be charged an additional freight delivery fee of $20-$40/item. You may upgrade your delivery experience to our In-Home Truck Delivery at your discretion for an additional $35 per item in addition to any other freight delivery fees. Threshold Truck Delivery

Items are unloaded by the driver and placed inside the first-floor doorway, garage, or covered area of your choice. If the home is a multi-dwelling building, the items will be delivered inside the residence. No assembly is included. Packaging removal is available by upgrading to “In-Home” Truck Delivery. Please note: All items delivered by Threshold Truck Delivery will be charged an additional freight delivery fee of $40/item.

Items designated for Truck Delivery may be upgraded to our In-Home Truck Delivery service at your discretion for an additional $35 per item in addition to any other freight delivery fees. See In-Home Truck Delivery below.

In-Home Truck Delivery Recommended

On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery. Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery. With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed. Assembly is not included.

Truck Delivery Scheduling

After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4hour window for your delivery. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, narrow roads, restricted delivery times, gated entrances, proof of insurance requirements, multiple flights of stairs and service elevator restrictions. It's important to ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.

What to expect for Delivery

On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.

Accepting your Delivery

Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

They are both lovely to look at as well as having all the features we like in nightstands: 2 drawers, a charging station, and a slide out shelf. These are substantial pieces - not flimsy in any way. My husband commented on the thorough packing of these - very well protected. We couldn't be more pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Useful, well built but needs a few tweaks. Overall I like this a lot. It's very solid, the drawers move easily but don't fall out, and I like having the plugs. However, the plug strip is contained in a little box that is too shallow for bigger adaptors like USB-C ones, so that's pretty frustrating. Also, the cover on the hole in the back where the cord for the plugs comes out doesn't have a cut-out in it, so it's either pushed off the side or you have to remove it. I didn't love the handles on the drawers so replaced them but that's a matter of personal taste.

The nightstands are good quality and I am happy with them (I bought 2). I am writing another review because of my concern with website. I moved and my address changed. Unfortunately I am unable to remove old address from my BD account even after setting current address as default. This is a concern because when placing an order and not verifying new address is set as default (after address has been changed), the items ordered will be shipped to old/former address. Some programming work on BD webviste would correct this problem. I hope this information will help someone else.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm Blue over the Power Love the Nightstands! I purchased them in the Navy Color. Color is not a True Navy as it is not as dark but is still beautiful! One little issue is the charging port is basically a power strip attached to the back of the drawer so the thicker cord can hinder the close of the drawers. I wish it was done in a different way.

However, you should be mindful that if placed against a wall, the power cable that is fed through the back of the night stand must have enough clearance from the wall. Otherwise the sliding charging tray will not close completely as the cable prevents it from doing so.

I withheld 1star because there is only 1 USB port and the space provided to plug things in is fairly tight for me. However, I do have some arthritis and it might be fine for others. I think I will enjoy this. It’s a very nice piece (and By the way, it requires NO assembly!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy Color is great. Blue is not quite like the picture but is it ever?hazard of online shopping...But for our space it blended perfectly. They access to the plug for the charging station is tight but still works. The back of the nightstand has a hole that is covered that the extension has to thread though with a cover that is awkward. Hard to manipulate. The tables look great overall and I would give five stars except for the design of the charging slide out top and access to the plug. I still recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just received my Grey Sidney side table Just received my Sidney side table yesterday. The build quality is great. I love the 2 usb ports for charging my iPhone and iPad. But I would have like to seen the power strip mounting to have been on the inside back side of the drawer so you can actually use the lone power socket to charge a laptop or external hard drive. Those power cords do not bend enough for the drawer to close. You have to leave the drawer all the way pulled out to use.

I decided to keep them for the discounted price. If they were in perfect condition I would give these a higher rating. The drawers are not on tracks either. So it isn’t very smooth when you open and close them

Bought two units; one hardware tray badly installed, ball bearings had fallen out and tray stops were found at bottom of box. Finish subject to water stains—use coaster. Drawer hardware needs to be upgraded and installed on all sliding drawers. Should be better constructed for the price.

A drawer top was cracked. One spot on the front showed a poor paint damage repair. These are too expensive for the quality.

Also, they stain terribly easy even in the grey color. Loved a place to put my tech and theses are lower quality than pottery barn and like 250.00 more for each stand. Returned and am trying their wooden version.

It looks like it was a poor paint job. These things cost way too much money to see noticeable issues right out of the box.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nightstand damage I sent an email to Ballard yesterday. I moved in yesterday to our new house and when we unpacked the nightstands, one was broken where the charging station is. When I pulled out the drawer a piece of the slats was broken Off and missing. The cord was not wrapped like the other nightstand so it was obvious that it was broken before I got the piece. I sent pictures. Please let me know how I can get a new stand amd tell me what I need to do with the damaged one.
