Gives me ease of mind.We hang many mirrors and pictures for clients and some of them are quite large and heavy. I've used these in the past and just ordered more. I know when we hang something large/heavy with these that it will be secure and be placed where I want it, not just where there is a stud. They are also attractive enough to be exposed above whatever I'm hanging if the application warrants it.

Amazing and strong hooksThe hooks are pure genius. They hold very heavy frames or mirrors even in drywall. They are simple to install: just poke a punch, large nail, or small screwdriver blade through the drywall and then slip the hook in. It is so simple.
I looked everywhere for these hooks and finally found them. My sister had given me 2 of them years ago and I used them to hang heavy picture frames. When I went looking for more of them online I couldn't find them anywhere. I finally looked on Ballard's website and was thrilled to find them here. I bought 2 bags of 10 hooks so that I never run out.
P.S. my nickname is not really jannygirl but that is what gets displayed in the review and I can't change it.

Greatest thing since sliced breadThese hooks are wonderful. My husband and I have always hated hanging anything but these make it easy. Even my contractor was impressed. Used them with the Audry mirror and it was a snap. I will never be without them again. Thank you for offerring them. Great bargain. The Audry mirror went in a newly renovated master bath hanging vertically and it was a beautiful finishing touch. We used the packing cut out as a template and hanging was easy. It is just beautiful. Definitely recommend

Easy and solid.Used two hooks to hang a 170lb mirror. Installation took just minutes. We used an awl to create the initial hole for the hook and with a firm, upward push, my husband was able to rotate the hook into place. The only hole in the drywall was the one created by the awl. Same procedure for the second hook and, wallah, mirror hung in 5 minutes.

12patented power hooksI bought these to hang my large Audrey mirror in a bathroom remodel. The contractor commented on how easy they were to use and how nice the mirror looked in the bathroom. It went up very fast and easy. Fast shipping and very we'll packaged.

They actually work!When I first noticed these hooks I wasn't sure how they could possibly hold up my almost 100 lb. mirror, especially since there were no studs located where they needed to go. I had gone to the hardware store but couldn't find anything like these so I decided to purchase them. To my surprise they were simple to install and that mirror isn't going anywhere now! Pow Wow!One down a few to go, but without this hook I had few options to hang my favorite mirror. When other say easy, believe it. Took a minute and a little elbow grease to get it all the way in. My method was to drive the first straight part in, then pull it out a bit and drive it in again at a slight upward angle ( you will see once you try it, getting the second flat bit in is a little harder). Happy to take other's solutions, but that was mine. Also, Ballard could help with some mirror hanging instructions and solutions beyond just selling the hooks.

Drywall SolutionAfter trying mollies, hooks and other hardware to hang a heavy mirror and failing, I thought what have I got to lose with trying these Power Hooks? They are excellent! It worked like a charm and the mirror is up! I would use these for smaller art work as well. Well worth the money.

Wonderful solution!I am not surprised that Ballard sells these wonderful hooks. I purchased them years ago elsewhere, and have a hard time finding them! They are THE solution for hanging heavy mirrors and pictures into drywall. I have been using them for years and can attest to the fact that they hold up very heavy items safely - the force of gravity actually helps secure them. (They do not work well for frames that have the catch at the very tip top in back, because this hook will show above the item, but I have successfully attached a different catch for those times).

Easy to useI am very glad that I got these hooks to hang a large mirror. I bought the 3 piece grand palais mirror through Ballard and these hooks work great for hanging it. Easy to get in the wall and very secure once in there to hold a something heavy on the wall.

Perfect Power HooksI needed something to mount a very heavy jewelry armoire without the need for finding studs and these power hooks not only look fine, but handle the weight. I recommend them for those items you want where they look best, not just where wall studs are located.

Good product.The only reason I didn't give five stars is because we bought a large round mirror and it required to hooks and the top of the hooks show outside the frame of the mirror. My husband painted the part that was showing the same color as the wall and because it's so high it's not noticeable.

Hangs a TON, but you will SEE itI bought these with the Grand Palais Mirror. I hired a handyman who has experience with hanging heavy items in wonky places (uneven floor and ceiling..I have both).
You can see the decorative gold part above the mirror as the hook itself is taller than where the hole for it is positioned on the back. I didn't like how it looks, since the mirror I bought is silver not gold. The handyman had another solution thankfully, but now I have to return these.
I think the dimensions of the hook and the dimensions of where the holes are need to be pointed out to people.

Solid constructionI wish I could have used these for my intended purpose, but was unable to since I have an older home with lathe and plaster. If you have drywall,these hooks are easy to use and don't damage the wall as much as a molly does. However, if you don't have drywall, you will most likely not be able to use these. With regard to the quality of the hooks, they are solid.
