If you're not happy, we're not happy. That's where our "Love It or Send It Back" policy comes in. If you're dissatisfied with your Ballard purchase for any reason, you can return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or full refund* (excluding Shipping & Processing fees).

You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

If you don't absolutely love your new slipcovered seating or upholstered seating for any reason, return it within 10 days of delivery absolutely free – we'll even pay the return shipping. It's that simple. We guarantee it. Now doesn't that make you happy?

Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive damaged or defective merchandise, you may contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-536-7551 and a representative will be glad to arrange a return or exchange for you.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Fees

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

Oversized Handling Fee - $20-$40 per item

All shipping charges are based on the original retail price of the product prior to any discounts being applied.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Perfect lines, perfect color, the right amount of storage and with grooved shelves for proper displaying. I ended up having a problem with the ordered. I was so disappointed and frustrated I reached out to Ms. Lambert, Customer Service Experience Manager (I found her on Social Media as Social Support Manager). I wrote her about the problem and she reponded immediately. She researched the problem, followed through and followed up. I had my Seneca Display Cabinet delivered in no time at all. And I love it! She handled the situation in the most professional manner, she was thoughtful and caring. I can't say enough about this cabinet, but more importantly, I can't say enough about Ms. Lambert and Ballard Design's customer service! She is a valued member of the Ballard Design Management team. To be perfectly honest, I was a little nervous to actually pull the trigger on a piece of furniture we had never physically seen. But we took the risk and we are SO GLAD we did. This cabinet really is a great piece. It is solid and sturdy and we love the contrast between the rich wood tones and the white inside. We knew that in our price range that we had that we were going to need to make some sacrifices. I was most nervous about the "veneer" in the description. But really that is just the back of the cabinet. The rest of the piece is solid. As far as overall experience, we could not be happier. We ordered online and that was quick and easy. The follow-up phone call we received from Ballard to set up deliver was impressive. The gal I spoke with was thorough and thoughtful. Very pleasant to speak with. And the delivery service…WOW. I was so impressed with them. And timing…we were a little bummed that we were going to have to wait 2-3 weeks to receive it (like the website states). However, I think start to finish, from ordering to receiving we're talking no more than a week and a half. Not sure if that's the norm but that's how it worked for us. I'm sure like any retail place that there are lemons, like people, no company is perfect. But for us, our experience with Ballard Design was top notch. Thanks folks. We really appreciate it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love mine We have had this cabinet for couple of years (I think-quite a while.) I appreciate reviews from buyers that have had the item, did not just receive it. It holds most my crystal and China along with inherited (precious) pieces. The piece shows no wear. I only gave it 4* because it is not solid wood and because I use it lightly. I can't confirm that this cabinet would hold up to daily use. I added LED lights, makes it quite lovely. Im a happy customer. Had white glove delivery, just wonderful. Also, all needed materials to secure the cabinet to a stud are included.
