We want you to be happy. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, simply return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or refund (excluding Shipping & Processing fees). All products are guaranteed from defects for a full year.

Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive damaged or defective merchandise, you may contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-536-7551 and a representative will be glad to arrange a return or exchange for you.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

All shipping charges are based on the original retail price of the product prior to any discounts being applied.

*Orders placed in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico & US Virgin Islands will have additional costs.

Expedited Shipping

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries


  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

While I like the chair--it's gorgeous and the fabric is lovely- there needs to be more padding on the edge where it hits under your legs, knees. You can feel the frame. That would be my only complaint. You may also need a little lumbar support pillow depending on the shape of your back. Might help with comfort.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing purchase I ordered this chair in April and it arrived in November, after a series of very unhelpful updates and lack of timely responsiveness from the company. It is a beautiful chair but very uncomfortable with little padding. Unfortunately, it also arrived with broken wood on one of the legs, which means I am waiting another month for a functional chair. After the wait and considering the price, I was hoping for the highest quality...I am quite disappointed and would not recommend!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Not Purchase I loved this chair in the showroom, however the seat cushion is TERRIBLE in the one I received. The wood frame in the front of the seat is barely cushioned resulting in the back of your legs going numb from the wood cutting in. I've had the chair a week and the rest of the cushioning in the seat is already breaking down. For the $1500 I paid, this is garbage... do not purchase if you are actually going to use it for sitting. If I could send it back, I would. Worst purchase from Ballard ever.

I re looked at the pic online to see if was missing a cushion. This defiantly needs to be taken Mack and fixed. I waiting a super long time for this chair so not sure if they rushed making it or what an Penned.
