This is not a $5,000 wool rug that will last for generations, but we think it's a great deal for the price. We were most attracted to the colors and the light background. We bought it for a room with lots of windows and it looks great. Because the rug is light-weight, definitely get the thickest carpet pad available to make walking on it feel more luxurious, to keep it from sliding around on a hardwood floor, and to increase the life of the rug. We got the Ballard RU012 811 and it works fine.

I had this one in my cart for a while thinking about it because of the price but so glad I finally ordered it - absolutely worth every penny!
