The ties are sturdy and well-stitched. And the cushions are thick enough to make for comfortable sitting on our wrought iron furniture.

We had some previously that were heavier and unwieldy to handle; these are thick enough to provide the necessary padding, and that's what we wanted. Attractive colors, also.

I also assumed, wrongly so, that I could take off the cover for cleaning, but you cannot. If you are looking for a cushion that will last just one season with a lot of use, then these are it.
