If you're not happy, we're not happy. That's where our "Love It or Send It Back" policy comes in. If you're dissatisfied with your Ballard purchase for any reason, you can return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or full refund* (excluding Shipping & Processing fees).

You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

If you don't absolutely love your new slipcovered seating or upholstered seating for any reason, return it within 10 days of delivery absolutely free – we'll even pay the return shipping. It's that simple. We guarantee it. Now doesn't that make you happy?

Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive damaged or defective merchandise, you may contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-536-7551 and a representative will be glad to arrange a return or exchange for you.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

All shipping charges are based on the original retail price of the product prior to any discounts being applied.

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

I purchased the Sunbrella red canvas box edge cushions for 12 black wrought iron dining chairs and four chaise lounges. Not only do they still look stunning, but they have remained as firm and comfortable as the day they arrived and the color has not faded at all. Worth every penny!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome cushions! After searching many websites, I found that Ballard Designs had the most choices and the best prices for outdoor cushions. I had to outfit 12 dining chairs. I used these as the cushion back. I chose the box welt version for the seat cushion. They look perfect together. I love that these are made with official Sunbrella material. Other websites had generic outdoor material that I was concerned would not coordinate with my other Sunbrella outdoor upholstered furniture. These are superbly made. My only complaint is the Ballard label and the Sunbrella label on each cushion. I am contemplating cutting each one off. I also wish they had a Velcro attachment option as a choice. I did not enjoy tying all 12 cushions on trying to make them all match.

These are of excellent quality…..nice sturdy fabric (Sunbrella), vibrant colors and nice long strings to tie to your chairs. I couldn't tell from the catalog how thick they were but they are about 3" and quite substantial. Very happy with this purchase!

I bought the green (Kiwi, I believe) to go on black cast aluminum chairs and it's a nice combination. I've only had them a few months so I cannot attest to the durability yet.

Previously purchases 8 Ballard Designs outdoor chair cushions, all have been well made with generous soft foam inside, however the cushions they are selling today are thin and hard foam.
