Rated 5 out of 5 by DebThinks from Paulette Server Good amount of storage with a small footprint. I’m using in kitchen, the drawers in hutch are not very deep but can store some shorter kitchen gadgets. The two bottom drawers are quite large and deep. They hold very large bowls, platters, etc.

The second one has a scratch on the granite top and the top drawer won’t always open, even if all the drawers are closed. This piece has the safety feature to prevent tipping where only drawer opens at once. One of the drawer sets works just fine but the other doesn’t. They are large and I have no idea how to get this one returned so my recommendation is to pay the money for the delivery guys to unbox and haul the very large packing materials away and try the drawers out before the delivery guys leave.

However, I am very disappointed that both units arrived with cracks in them. I'm certain the cracks are from lack of care during the shipping and handling portion. The inner and outer packaging is very durable and more than adequate, but if the boxed units are mishandled, i.e...dropped, bouncing around in the back of a truck etc, they are bound to be damaged in some way. I'm also dissatisfied with the hardware and mounting system that connects the 2 units together. It is very flimsy and not sufficient for the size and weight of the units.
