We want you to be happy. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, simply return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or refund (excluding Shipping & Processing fees). All products are guaranteed from defects for a full year.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. What To Expect For Truck Deliveries


  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It is a great product, but. I sew and usually make most of my own items. We were having visitors and I did not have time to request a swath of fabric for review. Thus, the root cause of disappointment. The material is not very thick for furniture covers. It should have, at least, been lined. The skirt part of the cover sort of waves between all four legs and I have had to do a lot of work to try to get that stopped.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beaautiful Fabric....but I recently purchased two custom Parsons Chair Slipcovers in the Susan Kasler linen fabric - Lavender. The color and weight of the linen is stunning...a light lavender/gray. Because they were a special order, they were expensive and took a couple months to receive. I was disappointed in the fit. The fit was loose and some of the cording was wavy. I have six other Parsons chairs with three sets of slipcovers for different seasons and occasions. Yes, I know - its a little out-there but I love to "change it up" and keep things fresh. All of my other slipcovers - were made from "standard" fabrics and fit much better. I don't understand. The standard slipcovers are a fraction of the cost of the custom and are delivered within days. How can fast and cheap fit better than slow and pricey?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The Fabric Quality was Disappointing I purchased 2 Parsons custom order slip covers and 2 Parsons chairs to match 6 other Parsons chairs and slip covers that I purchased from Ballard roughly 5 years earlier. I ordered the same fabric (off-white cotton duck), and was disppointed that the quality seemed to be inferior to the existing slipcovers that I already had. Also, the chairs themselves are roughly 1/2" shorter than my existing chairs. I was not expecting the fabric to be an exact match in color (although it was!), but it seems to be a little bit coarser, and more prone to wrinkles. Also, the actual fit of the slip covers seems to be a little off. My original 6 slip covers fit the chairs very snugly and their cording lines up to the bottom of the frame almost exaclty. The two that I recently purchased just don't fit as well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great chair, poor fabric After viewing a gorgeously decorated room in a BD catalog, I ordered a custom fabric slipcover for my parsons chair as shown in the catalog picture. After waiting 3 months for delivery, I am sorry to report that my slipcover is already quite torn at the seam, a good 12 inches. It is an SK linen and it wasn't cheap material. I will not be purchasing linen slipcovers in the future as they do not hold up to daily use. My BD basics fabric on my other parsons chair is still holding up beautifully 1+ years later under similar use. Live and learn.
