Rated 3 out of 5 by TMNC from Not a pleasant experience I purchased this piece last year for our dining room. My cabinet was in good condition when it arrived. But, just as the previous reviewer said, the delivery setup was a joke. The delivery guys brought the main piece in, set it on the floor and headed for the exit. When I pointed out that it had legs that were to be added to the bottom of this very heavy cabinet, (hidden in one of the drawers) they called their supervisor, who claimed that was not in their scope of work! If my husband and son were not strong and handy, this would have been a hugely expensive waste of money. If Ballard is going to charge those exorbitant delivery fees, then their customers should have a usable piece of furniture when the delivery is complete. As for the piece itself, I’d give it a solid B+. The doors are hard to open and every bottle and piece of glassware rattle when you pull. Otherwise it’s serving its intended purpose just fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DLorentz from Expensive Mistake I saw this online and fell in love with it immediately. I have never bought anything from Ballard Designs, but decided I had to have the Parr Bar. After waiting a month for it to be delivered, I was shocked when it arrived. The wood stain is completely flawed. It arrived scratched in many places. The leather was filthy. But the biggest issue is the MINOR self assembly. You have to lift a 300lb cabinet off the ground 12 inches to install the legs!!! I tried calling customer service twice and was hung up on both times. Learn from my horrible and expensive mistake; do not order!
