Rated 5 out of 5 by Victoria33 from Perfect desk for two people to work at My husband and I needed to consolidate from two home offices to one and this was a perfect and stylish solution. I made the mistake of not realizing that I should not have purchased one of the the CPU modular component when it is used as a partner’s desk. You can’t route the cords through the hole in the back as the cabinet on the other side is pressing on it. It also leaves no room for airflow if it is backed up against another cabinet. This was totally my fault and ordering the wrong thing. Additionally the locking file cabinet did not come with the key. Ballard customer service was quick to send another one however something has happened with the cabinet where it will not close completely tight in order to engage the lock. Need to spend a little bit of time looking at this to see if we can fix it ourselves or need to have it replaced. Overall there is plenty of storage in the options we chose and it’s a beautiful great desk to work at.

The setup was very easy - I was able to assemble the desk myself, and because everything was well packaged, there was no damage while I was maneuvering the cabinets around. The only thing missing is a keyboard slide.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Oakley17 from Versitile, Roomy and Smart Looking I got this partners' desk so I would have lots of space to do my normal office work on one side while leaving projects out on the other side. For this it is excellent. I honestly don't think it is wide enough to have two people facing each other at the same time, but for a desk with access on both sides and lots of drawer space in whatever configurations you need, this is great. Do note that it is quite wide so drawers on each side tend to be a reach. I find myself moving my chair from side to side quite frequently. Also, my two-drawer cabinet is exceedingly hard to open, so I may have to get help dismantling the auto-locking mechanism #to keep both drawers from being open at once#. But overall, I am loving this desk. I got the dark gray with zinc top and couldn't be more pleased with my choice. #By the way, "dark gray" is not all that dark. I would call it a medium, greenish/brownish gray, not a blue-gray as I expected, so I had to rethink my chairs. But it is a nice, neutral color.#
