You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

Oversized Handling Fee - $20-$40 per item

All shipping charges are based on the original retail price of the product prior to any discounts being applied.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

The quality and the look of the product are excellent. The file drawers offer full extension. The riser make it look like a complete piece of furniture. I love the black antiqued finish. It looks very rich. I would highly recommend this product.

Used the layout guide so measurements were dead on and fit perfectly to my space. One piece was a "in home delivery" - the delivery guys were very careful in handling and placement with attention to not bumping walls or scratching the product.

I have a home office with a sloped ceiling, and I was able to map out what would work in my space thanks to the online guide. The color looks better in person than it did online, although there are some slight color variations from piece to piece. The pieces are sturdy, functional, and look great.

The piece is functional but very, very well built and beautiful. The finish is very well represented by the photo online. I would highly recommend this very well built credenza.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 66” credenza with wood top Ordered these to expand our office. The original Ballard Design office furniture we purchased several years ago. One of the units had a scratch on the front when we unpacked. We decided it wasn’t worth the hassle and time to send it back. Another unit had a small nick on top drawer front. As much packing that is used for these units, these flaws had to have been on the furniture at the factory. The pieces go together well and are pretty sturdy, although the small drawers feel a little flimsy. These were on sale, so the price was okay I guess. Still seems pretty expensive for furniture made abroad with cheap labor. Glad the office is complete and that BD still carries this line.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Order still missing zinc tops Bought an office set with zinc tops in August. Everything arrived in pieces, but still no zinc tops for credenza or desk. Have wasted hours on the phone and sending emails following up to see if it has shipped. 4 ship dates have come and gone, still has not gone out. No indication at the time of order there was a backorder issue. Save yourself the headache and find furniture elsewhere.
