If you're not happy, we're not happy. That's where our "Love It or Send It Back" policy comes in. If you're dissatisfied with your Ballard purchase for any reason, you can return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or full refund* (excluding Shipping & Processing fees).

You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Fees

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

All shipping charges are based on the original retail price of the product prior to any discounts being applied.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for a double office My husband and I searched for an office furniture set for almost a year. We saw this one right away but there was only 1 comment with a 1 star. So, we decided to just make due with what we had until we could find what we needed/wanted for our duel office. We simply couldn't find anything (in our price range) that was going to work. While visiting Tampa, I saw there was a Ballards in the area. I was able to see the furniture in person and actually spoke to someone that had purchased this same group years prior and was still happy with it. We purchased this Partner's Desk Return Group Large in the brown (much nicer in person than the website). It did take several months to get which was frustrating but it arrived yesterday! I was a little concerned because it comes in 18 boxes but there were only 6 screws to screw! That was attaching the side panel to the large middle desk. Everything else is together. The boxes were: 8-file cabinets, 3-bases that the furniture sits on, 3- desk tops, 2-side panel & wedge for large desk, 2-bookshelves. Extremely easy to put together. I did only give a 4 star review because 1 file cabinet was damaged on 2 corners (delivery issue?) and there were no pre-drilled holes for the six screws...delivery was due between 8 am-noon, so I took a half day off. They showed up at 3...also frustrating. I'm not sure how they will handle my damaged piece, so I will update once I have that experience to share. At this point, I do recommend this furniture group and will share pictures once we have everything organized.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quality not as expected! I've had this desk for approximately 4 months and I am SO highly disappointed in the quality of it. This desk has SO many scratches, dings, running paint, and cabinets that do not sit flush together. I would not expect a desk that cost as much as this one does to have this much wrong with it. The top scratches so easily I had to put a protective covering to go on top from further ruining it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware - this is a life size lego project Requires a drill and 3 adults to assemble. There are no pre drilled holes as depicted in the brochure. They supply dowels that cannot go anywhere. Parts are mislabeled.
