If you're not happy, we're not happy. That's where our "Love It or Send It Back" policy comes in. If you're dissatisfied with your Ballard purchase for any reason, you can return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or full refund* (excluding Shipping & Processing fees).

You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Fees

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

Truck Delivery

  • Items are unloaded by the driver and placed inside the first-floor doorway, garage, or covered area of your choice.
  • If the home is a multi-dwelling building, the items will be delivered inside the residence.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries


  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

I ordered the medium desk organizer and it is perfect. It is well built and the finish is excellent. The Tuscan Brown is a beautiful warm brown and looks perfect against his backsplash and counter top. Great for holding incoming and outgoing mail, stamps, pens, etc. Ballard Designs is to be commended on the quick shipping and excellent packaging of the product.

It fits perfectly, blends in with my granite countertops, and looks great. All of our "desk stuff" (cook book, phone book, note pads, pens, cordless phone, clips, stamps, etc.) no longer clutter the area. Plus I've received lots of compliments on my "clever idea" for the kitchen!

Like another reviewer, it would be 5 stars "Plus" if it had pre-drilled holes in the two front slots above the little drawers, to run the phone charger cords through. Other wise it is a beautiful piece of furniture and fit perfectly in the kitchen desk space - really helped to eliminate the usual clutter that can accumulate on the kitchen counter.

This desk organizer was the answer. Nice assortment of cubbies, slots and drawers, uncluttered look. I bought the gray which blends with the wall next to it. Very nice piece of "furniture."
