If you're not happy, we're not happy. That's where our "Love It or Send It Back" policy comes in. If you're dissatisfied with your Ballard purchase for any reason, you can return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or full refund* (excluding Shipping & Processing fees).

You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Fees

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

All shipping charges are based on the original retail price of the product prior to any discounts being applied.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice and neat corner. The corner desk is perfect for my bedroom. I really like my purchase. I had had an older secretary desk, but the chair always sat out in the open, in the way when I had the secretary closed and everything put away. I have alot of office items, however I do not like seeing them all out on the desk. This corner desk has 2 cabinets and I purchased the charger one as well. I am not wheelchair bound yet, but with recent back surgery and other issues, I have to sit more than stand. I'm able to connect my curling iron and/or other items into the charger and do my hair at the desk. The chair fits nicely underneath. It's so large under there, I think my 100 lb black lab could also hide under there in a thunder storm. There was a small split on the underneath side, although nothing that was too terrible, so we just lived with it. I didn't want to send it back as it was one of the last pieces to come in the many shipments for the entire set (I ordered a credenza and hutch as well). We are very pleased with Ballard Designs. I would recommend purchasing a clear desk mat to use on the top, as there is a tendency for small items to make light grey scratches on the white top (zippers on purses, etc)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice and clean white office! I have been coveting this for years. We recently moved and the layout of my new home office was screaming "you need to buy this". After showing my husband on paper how I wanted my office to look, we went for it. The price was perfect. We would definitely suggest the plinths to finish the look. Ordered the file cabinet and the CPU cabinet. My only suggestion or disappointment with the CPU cabinet is it is not easy to open. There should be an indent or a pull knob. We also bought the printer credenza to complete the look. Not part of this group but another set we bought the white stackable cases. Love these as well.
