Being able to select the individual cabinet combinations is a great feature. I selected the black metal top and there were three very minor imperfections in the finish that most people would not notice unless examining very closely. Really wasn't worth replacing and no one has noticed. I would order it again without hesitation. It would be nice to have the option of finished backs if you weren't putting the pieces against a wall.
