Since that time they have survived standing water, a winter freeze, and over 90 days of 100 degree temperatures and sun. They look as new as the day I took them out of the (very well packed) box.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Cate123 from Beautiful chair, terrible cushions for outdoor use I bought these chairs at the start of the summer. The chairs were delivered on time. They were as pictured and looked beautiful on our deck with our dining table. They are comfortable and sturdy. That said, the quality of cushion is not up to pair with the standard I’ve come to expect from outdoor furniture, let alone Ballard. Past cushions and cushions on my conversation set are fast drying and stain and mildew resistant — ultimately made for outdoor use. These cushions are not — they absorb water like a sponge, take days to dry out and smell terribly. If you purchase be prepared to constantly cover or know you’ll need to get hardier cushions for true outdoor use.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Edgar22 from Navio Side Dining Chair I ordered these chairs from seeing them online, and they are beautiful and well constructed, however, completely not usable. No one could sit in these chairs for more than five minutes, and even that is a struggle! Trust me, you do not want to order these because if you do not keep them like me, you will be out several hundred dollars in shipping costs both ways. Very disappointing that Ballard Design would not do anything to compensate my loss.
