Rated 5 out of 5 by Cali cat from Quality Product, looks great - wish it came 3 way My animals finally knocked over and destroyed my vintage 3 way floor lamp with a large reading bulb - it was ugly but functional, and I've always wanted to replace it anyway. One of the few decent looking floor lamps online was this Monroe Forged lamp. It is very heavy and looks great with antique or contemporary decor. Only - it's not bright enough to read by unless maybe you could fit a chair directly under it. I wish it came with a 3-way switch and better wattage, but I will make due because I never could find a really attractive 3 way floor lamp. Might have to get a separate reading lamp. Came VERY well packed as all Ballard furniture does - takes a whole evening to get all the packing and tape off, but I never received anything damaged from them. Highly recommend. PS: please offer some attractive 3 way and reading lamps too. Five stars for appearance and shipping, 3 stars for function.

It is both heavy and high quality and provides the perfect amount of warm light for our family room. I bought the natural linen drum shade and it looks great! Both pieces arrived packaged very well, as usual for Ballard, and in perfect condition.
