We received many compliments on the Mercury star stocking holders from family during the holidays. They’re also weighted which helped to hold small items from Santa’s visit!

However we tried to put candy in the stockings and the weight pulled the holder off the mantle and immediately broke one of the stars. The stars aren’t very sturdy, and the holders aren’t weighted enough. We weight the stocking with the candy in it and it was only 2.3lbs! Now we need new holders..if you just want looks, it’s perfect
