It exceeded our expectations and we are in love with it! It puts off the moodiest, coziest light in the evenings and creates the perfect atmosphere. The color of the rod is stunning and the shades are perfection. We couldn't be happier with this light and how sturdy/expensive looks and feels!!!

My kitchen only has 8 foot ceilings so over my island this hanging did not need the rods and it hangs straight and the perfect distance to my island surface. Please excuse the wholes in my ceiling you can see in this photo. My handyman is on it this week,. Looks good, right?

Rated 5 out of 5 by CharleyS from Anais Pleated Persimmon Perfection! This fixture brought the whimsical touch I was looking for in my cottage kitchen. I was worried about the negative reviews, regarding the fixture spinning/not staying in place, but it seems the contributing factor to that problem has been rectified. There is no longer a ring at the top where the fixture pole meets the canopy, which would allow the movement. Also, when installing, make sure the amount of wires you keep are not twisted inside the tubing/rods. As for the size, for reference, my kitchen table is 78" long by 45" wide. This seems to be the perfect size for the scale of the fixture. We used one 12" down rod, which places the bottom of the shades 35" off the 30" high table, which is okay, but I would have liked it to be three inches lower. Had we used the additional 6" rod, it would have been too low, so we are leaving it as it is. Truly a lovely, warm, welcoming addition to my eclectic cottage kitchen. I couldn't be happier!
