Great purchase
I splurged and purchased the whole Maison collection in white with the spa colored cushions — dining table set, lounge chairs, chaise lounges, side tables, coffee table, matching umbrellas, and furniture covers for everything. I’m SO happy that I did. My patio now feels like a resort. I get lots of compliments on the furniture and the spa color.
Love the lounge chair and ottoman. They are incredibly comfortable. The replacement cushions are a must. The cushions they come with don’t fit the chair well. With the replacement cushions and the ottoman, they are probably the most comfortable chairs I own. I could sit on them all day. I bought four chairs. The plan was to have two with ottomans and two with a coffee table in front. The chairs are very comfortable on their own, but they are much more comfortable with the ottomans, so I’ve moved the coffee table somewhere else and purchased two more ottomans. I’ll just use the side tables for food and drinks.
The first day I used the chairs, I spilled a cup of coffee on them and was sure I’d have to replace the cushion. Happily that was not the case. The spot completely came out with just water and a microfiber cloth. I did have to go back 3 times as they started to dry and I saw spots that I’d missed.
There is no assembly required for the chairs or the ottomans. The ottomans come via UPS. The chairs come via truck. I didn’t realize this at the time but I would highly recommend getting in home delivery where they will remove all the boxes and materials. Everything is packed really well in makeshift styrofoam, tape, and cardboard wrapped around. It took me hours to break apart and bring to recycling, which is required in my area.
I highly recommend the lounge chairs and ottomans. I purchased the Ceylon wing chairs a few years back and these are much more comfortable. They are also lighter and easier to move around. I expect that they will be easier to maintain. Teak can be a pain. The one unknown is how long they will last. If they last a long time then they are truly the best purchase ever.
