If you're not happy, we're not happy. That's where our "Love It or Send It Back" policy comes in. If you're dissatisfied with your Ballard purchase for any reason, you can return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or full refund* (excluding Shipping & Processing fees).

You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

If you don't absolutely love your new slipcovered seating or upholstered seating for any reason, return it within 10 days of delivery absolutely free – we'll even pay the return shipping. It's that simple. We guarantee it. Now doesn't that make you happy?

Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive damaged or defective merchandise, you may contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-536-7551 and a representative will be glad to arrange a return or exchange for you.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Fees

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

Oversized Handling Fee - $20-$40 per item

All shipping charges are based on the original retail price of the product prior to any discounts being applied.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Piece This chair is a lot of money so I wanted it to be everything that it should. Fortunately it is! Sturdy, well proportioned, and comfortable. It can last a few generations. We use it with the ottoman on a little porch of the master bedroom. Takes a bit to assemble but was incredibly packaged.

I have a lot of packaging to get rid of now, but I would highly recommend the chair. Wish there were more cushion options but that is a minor issue!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome chair!! We bought a set of teak furniture and it is beautiful, sturdy, heavy, comfortable and spacious. Before you get to enjoy it you have some work to do - unpack and recycle the materials, assemble and seal with varnish. You don't have to seal it but it will keep the teak color longer, which is our preference. Since we purchased a couch, two lounge chairs, two ottomans, a table and 6 chairs it was a lot of work. BUT WELL WORTH THE TIME! The lounge chair is especially worth it as it reclines all the way down and two people (mom and child!) can fit in the chair together. It is big enough for us. And the arms are flat and wide enough to rest my glass of wine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favorite Porch Chair This has a good sturdy frame and is great to relax on the porch with a good book and some ice tea! Happy the chair came with big thick box cushions (even though they are cream in color). You will have to assemble the chair and ottoman, but it did not take too long (well at least not for me, my husband did it - but with no complaints!) I am looking forward to enjoying this chair for years to come.

The teak wood is beautifully finished, very smooth to the touch. The assembly was easy. The included cushions are thick and very comfortable. Very good looking ensemble!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Built Well But Wood Stains The Cushions The product is sturdy and totally decent. The big issue we have is that when it rains the wood leaks some kind of oil or stain onto the white cushions and leaves them with big reddish brown stains. Even with the covers on, which we purchased, the water comes up through evaporation and then the wood sweats and leaves the cushions all marked up.
