We got the metal shades since they're in a bathroom. We love how sophisticated they look, and the shape is both traditional and modern at the same time. We love them!

I bought these to place on bookshelves I am having built for a home library. As soon as I saw them I knew they would be perfect. They are solid and the taller shade adds an elegant touch - and finding sconces with black shades is almost impossible. The bookcases are not finished so no photo but I would recommend these for any room. And the price is absolutely reasonable for the quality. I have paid $300 for Hudson Valley sconces and these are just as well made and beautiful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Elin from Lovely quality but brass is very shiny I ordered two of these with the metal shade. The quality is very nice and substantial. The brass looks muted in the pictures but is very shiny in real life so they unfortunately did not work for us & I returned them.
