My Stylish ChairsOrdered four in white for glass table in eat in kitchen, replacing dark rattan. I began having doubts - what was I thinking ordering online and not seeing, touching the product. The impressive part of this transaction was the delivery - packaging that protected every inch of the chairs, all arriving in perfect condition. They brighten up the area and look more "beachy" than the previous furniture. What doubts? ....everybody loves the new look.

Needed some color in my hallwayI wanted a chair for a corner of my hallway. I did NOT want something too bulky and also desired some color. This chair fit the bill perfectly. It arrived in perfect condition as it was well packaged. All I had to do was attach the cushion. In the future, I might experiment with a floral cushion.

A very stylish look for a great priceWe ordered eight armchairs to dress up an existing round glass dining table with a navy/warm red/yellow Persian rug under it. They are truly the perfect, rich-looking accent without being dominant. I am an interior designer and this purchase was for a condo. The chairs are very study and well-built and the coral color is stunning. I intend to cover the seat cushions with a navy/cream chinoiserie linen fabric. I may also add some very dark navy or black 'bamboo eyes' to the chairs with a sable brush….not necessary, but an interesting detail. Love these chairs….very versatile and good looking. Delighted to have purchased them!

Coral color enhances designI love this chair; the chair & color is exactly as pictured!
I needed a chair in a GBR, & used the "vibrant color & Chippendale style" as pop out features. Fabulous! I also covered the cushion in a fabric I already used on a throw pillow. This chair makes a great statement!

Good buyThe design and color are really great. Love that about the chair. The cushion is really cheap, and the strapping on the arms is loose in some places. I give it a six out of ten, mainly due to the cushion. As usual, your delivery time is excellent.

The color of the chair cheapens the look for me.I chose this color to accent a room with lots of neutrals: cream, pale grey and navy. Coral/cream Ikat design pillows look great. The MaCau armchair is perfect for the room in every way but color. It's not that it's coral, it's that the coral hue is not subtle enough. It screams in my room. You could still get the color impact if the coral were grayed back a little. The color POW is over the top and cheapens the look of the chair for me. Could have been a sophisticated addition to my room, but isn't because of the hue.

Chairs are bright, REALLY brightThese chairs are about as inexpensive as you can find for this style. I ordered 4 of these for my dining room, thinking they would be a great punch of color, as I have a few accent pieces in coral. When the chairs arrived, my first thought was "They're neon." The chairs aren't terrible, but for the money I spent, I wanted something I would love!! They are REALLY, really bright orange..well, at least I will never bump into them in the middle of the night. They looked RED ORANGE in the online photos; they are not. I am not afraid of color, in fact I love bright pieces. However, these chairs are about as loud as a drunken uncle at a wedding. Another review said they look like plastic, I can kind of see how one could say that. In my opinion, these need to be tamed with a lot of neutral and blue accessories. Well, I suppose boxing them back up is just a waste of time, I will just have to wear sunglasses every time I sit down to eat. I will grow to love them, I HOPE. For $1,100 I had better!!!

gorgeous, but quality needs workThis chair is really gorgeous. I bought four for my dining table. However I've had two problems; 1) the cushion covers are bad. On two of them the zippers broke and on another the ties came right off in the wash. and get this - they don't sell replacement cushions!! 2) one of the chairs has broken/split right in the middle of the back.
Wasn't worth the money for me.

cheap construction, wrong cushion, narrowI bought these about a month ago, they came with a different cushion than is pictured. I've been going back and forth with Ballard and still haven't come to a resolution. The chair is made of more of a plastic/faux wood material and they're rather narrow. Not crazy about them or the crummy cushion they came.

Cushion is NOT whiteTwo issues with this chair; it's extremely uncomfortable and the cushion isn't anywhere close to being white. It's a very yellow cream, which looks terrible against a white chair. Took the cushion into the store and even the design folks said how yellow it was. Ballard sent me a replacement chair, and the replacement chair was the same. Ended up having to return both chairs. Not only because of the cushion, but because of how uncomfortable it was for your back.
