We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

The biggest difficulty was the cover for the electrical box didn’t come down the chain, so it was a very tight fit working to get it hung and wired. Now that it’s up, I absolutely love it.

When I found this one I was in love with it! It's stunning how the lights give off a beautiful warm glow to my dining room. The style is almost a Great Gatsby look. The onion shape is unique and compliments the room perfectly. We love turning on the light just to admire the sparkling lights ! Well worth the price, and I can easily change the bulbs myself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy and bulb change is fine I was hesitant to buy this light because of the reviews about the difficulty of changing the bulbs but it was the only light my husband and I both loved. It’s up and beautiful and, as it turns out, it’s easy to change the bulbs - your hand does not have to fit from the underside of the chandelier. The fixture just needs to be turned in order to detach the entire beaded part from the hanging attachment and all three light bulb bases will be easily accessible.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's a statement piece Loved this new item from Ballard Designs (BD) when I first saw it and there was some back and forth about how many lights were actually inside the chandelier. Not long thereafter, BD offered a discount and I purchased it. From my POV, it is a statement piece which I LOVE! That being said, I believe there is a design flaw which I may or may not be correct about in that once the chandelier is hung it is very difficult to add the light bulbs due to a bar that crosses the bottom of the light which is needed to add the bottom finial. I am petite woman whose hands can navigate the needed upward installation of the light bulbs but for those who do not have this benefit it would be problematic. Also, but lower priority if that is of interest, given the bar, dusting/cleaning the inside of the light is challenging. Thus, I ding it one star.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from awful experience I received my chandelier months later, I kept getting shipping delay notifications, when it finally arrived I hired an electrician to install only to realize it arrived broken. I contact Ballard Designs and they try to charge me for the replacement one, I fight them and they don't charge me and send the replacement. I inspect this second one carefully and hire an electrician to come install for a second time only for him to realize it too is damaged but this time on the inside. The threaded part that holds the three bulbs broke inside this time. I have now paid this electrician for multiple visits, I still have no working light and Ballards main concern is getting these broken lights back and threatening to charge me rather than fix the issue. What an absolute joke.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looks nice, but bulb changing is terrible. Changing the light bulbs is prohibitively difficult. You cannot simply reach inside and change them; you have to unscrew the body of the device from the cup on top. But the body is quite heavy, and the cup on top spins freely. This means that it's incredibly hard to unscrew. I'm 6'2 and pretty strong, and I needed help. Even with two people it was a real pain. If you're gigantic, and have abnormal wrist and lower arm strength, you should be fine. If not, pass.
