Rated 5 out of 5 by Janzian from Pretty, not kitschy. Lovely, perfect for an average sized bedroom. If spindle holding glass shade were1/2" longer, the bulbs suggested would fit. However, they don't and will shatter if you try. Use slender candle flame shaped ones.

Installation was a breeze and I was very hesistant based on reviews here especially given this pre-war home has considerable differences as far as modern standards go, eg. screws aligning from junction box to base plate etc. The amount of light exceeds expectations and the wow factor is amazing. Highly recommend not hesitating to purchase the suggested light bulbs for this piece.

I have deer antlers and many paintings of monks with bow and arrow, boat docks, etc hanging. I also have built in wooden stained book cases. I just had four can lights installed in the four corners and was looking for an elegant touch in the middle of the room. 9 foot ceilings. It is absolutely a beauty. Eye candy. I love the harmony. Installation was easy. I read the reviews but had no issues. Thanks Ballard’s. This light is beautiful!!
