You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive damaged or defective merchandise, you may contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-536-7551 and a representative will be glad to arrange a return or exchange for you.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

We were a little nervous as the box was damaged when it arrive and with some other reviews about the quality of the bench and paint. We were pleased to see no quality issues with the finish or construction. We are very happy with this purchase and love the construction and especially the storage size of the drawers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purchased 2 of these benches Purchased 2, when I realized I'd found a size that fits... 2 end to end, wall to wall, in my breakfast nook under my triple set of windows! Have been looking (and measuring benches) for a long time. I found these benches and knew they'd actually look like a custom built-in window seat I've always wanted! The quality is excellent... very heavy, the drawers are solid and slide in and out easily, with a very quality feel. Very well constructed. I'm delighted! I also purchased 2 of the farmhouse 3-seater cushions from Ballard. I also have 2 counter stools with rush seats from Ballard Designs, purchased a couple years ago, with 2 farm house cushions... so of course I ordered the same fabric for farm house cushions for the benches... the vintage ticking in sandalwood. Love the benches, recommend them to anyone looking for that size. Note, they're heavy, about 148 lbs. The benches look like an adorable built-in window seat under my triple windows in the breakfast nook! I'm so pleased!!! .

We have a white iron bed frame, and for the longest time, I have wanted a storage bench for function, but also one that is attractive! The white Lonny Bench fits that description perfectly! I have added a Ballard bench cover and three pretty throw pillows and I could not be happier with the finished look! My husband was happy, because it came safely wrapped and we had in place in minutes!

Found these online - not in catalogue. Had to wait 6 weeks or so for availability - but so worth it. UPS delivered them - 145 lbs per box.....expertly packed by the manufacturer in China. Not a mark on them. Fully assembled! Nothing to do except unpack them. Love the quality - solid sturdy construction. Drawers fit perfectly and operate smoothly (and letter sized file folders in jackets fit perfectly inside them). I am so pleased with this purchase. They look terrific in my small breakfast area. A wonderful solution to a seating/storage problem! Now I get to pick out fabric for cushions to go on top.

Also found some damage (paint and wood chipped off) on the right-side leg. Also paint on the edges is not finished as you can see parts of wood that are not painted. Overall a disappointing purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not so good I bought this bench a few months ago. It was exactly what I needed. When I opened the box I was so disappointed. The back was warped and the paint on the bottom had peeled. I exchanged it and the second one also had peeling paint.
