If you're not happy, we're not happy. That's where our "Love It or Send It Back" policy comes in. If you're dissatisfied with your Ballard purchase for any reason, you can return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or full refund* (excluding Shipping & Processing fees).

You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

If you don't absolutely love your new slipcovered seating or upholstered seating for any reason, return it within 10 days of delivery absolutely free – we'll even pay the return shipping. It's that simple. We guarantee it. Now doesn't that make you happy?

Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive damaged or defective merchandise, you may contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-536-7551 and a representative will be glad to arrange a return or exchange for you.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Fees

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

Oversized Handling Fee - $20-$40 per item

All shipping charges are based on the original retail price of the product prior to any discounts being applied.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly as described. My rug arrived before the tracking system even had it in their system. The rug does lie entirely flat after it has a week or so to settle. I bought the one with the taupe edges which goes nicely with my new wood grained vinyl floor. I’m using it in my dining room - wouldn’t want to use it where someone might sit on it as I think sisal is too rough on the skin. Both my husband and I are happy with this purchase.

There was a glitch in my original order, and I so appreciate the Customer Rep working this out for me and was thrilled to receive the rug. What made my final decision was another reviewer describing how well the rug looks with their white furniture, with light blue and yellow accents, which sounded just like mine. The rug does not look yellow to me; it looks like natural white. I've attached a photo so you can see, though the lamplight does give it a yellowish cast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great look at a great price I debated about getting this rug. I loved the way it looked, but was concerned about such a light color under my dining table. After reading another review, I was also worried about quality and the color being too yellow. I ordered a swatch, which came quickly, and ultimately decided to try it out. My shipment arrived a couple of weeks ago, and I am thrilled. The light color brightens up my dining room, which doesn't get a lot of natural light and has beautiful, but very dark espresso hard wood floors. It does have a bit of a yellow tone, but it works nicely with my cream white dining chairs and wood table. I haven't noticed quality issues that another reviewer had. The sisal material seems like it will be durable, though I will be investing in good fabric protector to prevent stains. The twill trim is stitched down completely, and the corners are perfectly mitered. Overall, this is a great rug at a great price. I recommend it, and also recommend that if you are considering, to order a swatch first.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Rug The bleached color is great for any room where a natural fiber rug us needed but you don't want the natural golden color. We had to use a steam iron to get out the wrinkles where it had been rolled up so it would lay flat, but after that, no problems. Use a rug pad if you have hardwood floors.
