Don't mistake this rug for a high quality indoor rugIf anyone thinks that an 'outdoor/indoor' carpet for this price point can pass as a quality indoor rug will certainly be disappointed.
I put this rug down on my screened in porch in front of the seating area the beginning of the summer and it looks just great. i just ordered another one for under the table and chairs and on the step.
I was very pleased with the product.

who thought you could have a fashionable rug that wears well!This rug is wonderful! Very practical and great looking in my mudroom. Spots are easily washed off and it's a breeze to clean up dirt and such with a quick run of the vaccuum.

This produce fits the bill!This is the second Leopard Belgique Indoor/Outdoor carpet I have purchased. My dinning room opens to my garden and with the dogs coming and going... well muddy paws don't show and the carpet is easy to clean. I bought the second one for my entrance hall and it has weathered the snow and ice melt that inevitably gets tracked in.

Looks great on my IPE deck - outside.I have purchased several of these rugs through the years and love how they look on my deck. It is an outdoor rug, so I don't understand the complaints here.
I do think it is priced too high, but love the look and hope Ballard continues to keep this rug available, just lower the price a bit....

Love the rug....but....The color was more yellow than I thought it would be....the picture shows two different tones, and I thought I was getting the one on top....And, in spite of my re-rolling the rug, the ends continue to curl....Hopefully it will settle in with time....

Nice, but not as nice as the photo.I was disappointed in the background color of this rug. The photo on line and in the catalog shows a much lighter color - almost ivory. The true color is darker and yellowish. Other than that, the rug is as advertised.

Overall OKColors not true to catalog representation-if that is not an issue for your decor you should find the pattern pleasing. The edges of rug are crooked-corners aren't squared so if this is placed on a tile floor(as mine is) with grid pattern it is definitely noticed. Also, on the tile it is very slippery so make sure you get an under rug pad or you could easily fall

Looks greatOver all, I like the rug. However, when it came I had a hard time getting out the creases. After many "steams" and putting weight on it the creases are nearly gone and the rug(s) look great with my decor.

Be aware, sizes are approximateJust received it and I'm disappointed. I like the quality well enough, and it looks good, but the size is not what I expected.
I selected the 3x5 option because I wanted a 3x5 rug. When I received the rug, it was more like 3x4. That's when I noticed the fine print on the ordering page "sizes are approximate." And more fine print in my e-mail " PRODUCT NAME: LEOPARD BELGIQUE INDOOR/OUTDOOR RUG BLACK 3.3X4.11". So now the rug is 1 foot short for my purposes.
I'm frustrated. Ballard should've been more clear. I don't want to waste $10 returning it so now I'm stuck.

Durable and looks great.I love this rug because it looks great and it's practical as well as versatile. I use it indoors. I have three cats and it's easy to clean up, pretty durable, and I can move it around easily. The only problem I have with this rug is with the runner. (I bought a runner and smaller rug to match.) The binding has pulled away from the rug at one end (just in one spot). It doesn't get a lot of foot traffic, so I think I may have just gotten one that wasn't as good as it should be. I've had it for a while, and just noticed it a week or so ago. Otherwise, I really like it.

This animal won't lay downThis rug rolls at the ends and does not lay flat. I have tried laying it upside down and when right side up have tried to weigh down the edges with books. I did like the pattern but BD is charging too much for the quality of this item.

Poor packingTis rugs has been stored having been folded rather than rolled. It ha so many creases from folds that won't come out. I've steamed it, watered it down and left to dry,put heavy books...nothing takes out fold wrinkles.... Terrible.....would return if wasn't such a hassle.

Disappointed - Here's why... I thought I knew what I was getting into!I love BD. I previously purchased the Antique Letter rug, despite mixed reviews, and used it in my dining room because of the wear I anticipated and my dog's tendency to lay there daily. I've only gotten positive feedback from guests. So this caught my eye - I loved the abstract pattern. I felt my satisfaction with the texture and appearance of the Antique Letter rug would prepare me for what the few negative reviews mentioned on the Belgique rug. It arrived and I was planning on using it in my craft area of my lower level. The pattern was fine but the textile material was distinctly plastic-like and somewhat shiny. I unrolled it and left it there about 2 weeks. I kept thinking it was fine, for it's location and purpose - then I got to feeling the price was just too much for what it was. When I came online to write a review, I clicked the swatch and GENUINELY feel it poorly represents the product. I re-read the product description, considered what people had said and feel that it is not an exaggeration to describe it in these terms. It is reminiscent of faux-turf carpeting. I KNOW it is indoor/outdoor, but even then, I would not spend the money I did on the largest size. Maybe clearance, but not full price. I even had 15% off. The appearance of the actual product does not justify the price. I'm going to inquire about returning it because of my disappointment. I went into this purchase fully being aware of the intent of this rug and the potential for it to appear different than expected, but it's enough to cause me to attempt an inconvenient and cumbersome return of a huge rug.

Not the same as the rugs offered a few years agoI bought what looks like the same rugs years ago and absolutely loved them. They were classy and handsome and worth every penny. I wanted to add to my collection so ordered another and this rug is horrid--cheap, plastic looking, and the leopard design looks like squashed bugs or a three-year-old's rendering of the graphic. These can't compare to the ones I originally purchased.

Not as expectedThis rug did not appear as pictured in the catalog. I was very disappointed at how cheap it looked and how "plastic" it appeared. Perhaps it would be ok simply as an outdoor rug, but definitely not for indoors!
I have already returned the rug, and customer service has been very helpful.

Only good for certain settingsI think these rugs would be good for outdoor settings but not at all indoors. I bought two of the smallest ones for my sink and stove. The colors are great but they are too thin and curl up on the edges which works horribly in my L shaped kitchen. I am constantly tripping over the curled edges and I have tried numerous things to uncurl them! They also seem to wear roughly in these well used parts of my home.

Poor qualityI am sorry to say that the quality of the Leopard Belgique Indoor/Outdoor rug was not good. I purchased two runners, and on both rugs, the short edges were cut on a slant, not straight. There are black lines running through the tan in both rugs, as well. Finally, the edging on one of the rugs is already starting to fray, and I only got them a couple of weeks ago.
I am very disappointed the quality of these runners, and would not recommend them to anyone.

curls at the ends.Not a product I would recommend for purchase! We use it as an indoor rug because I loved the design. It slides everywhere!! The ends curl up, I am constantly rolling it down or flipping the rug over to try and flatten it. Perhaps it would fair better outside. We purchase many things from Ballard and this is the only product I was extremely disappointed in!

Don't waste your money. This is a stiff rug, unpossible to get to lie flat. Not as attractive as the photo either.This rug was advertised as "soft." I previously had purchased an indoor-outdoor rug from Ballard and it was nice but decided to change it as I liked the pattern shown on this one. Unfortunately, it is not soft; it is more like corrugated cardboard. Tried to straighten it out for a week but little improvement. Put it down anyway and it looked terrible. Rolled it up and put it on the porch to go to the dump or Good Will. A total waste of money.
