Rated 5 out of 5 by Whats his face from I am in love! I recently purchased this and its companion matching hutch and am very glad I did. It is of great quality and has really brought the room I put it into to life. I read a review a couple of months ago before I purchased this, in which someone said it had a gasoline smell. That did concern me. When mine was delivered, I did smell that same smell the other costumer commented about. It went away after lightly wiping it down. I think it's just a residual smell of the stain you used on this wood. I'm super glad I purchased it! I'm leaving the same review for its matching counterpart hutch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bigtex from Buffet This is such a beautiful piece of furniture. Looks lovely in our dining room. I have a 100+ year old dining room table and chairs. I was worried about the blend of new & old but it compliments the table & chairs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Deidre R from Lavella Sideboard The sideboard is incredibly well made but extremely heavy….im very pleased but wish we could have removed the drawers to lighten the weight because it was carried up 2 flights of stairs and took 4 men to carry it! Guess its never leaving the top floor lol 😆

It works beautifully for me in my limited space and allows me to not only store my dishes, glassware and linens but to use the top for placing aside serving platters during sit-down meals or to set out the dishes for buffet style meals. I added puck lights to brighten up the shelves simply for dramatic effect. I have already reaped the benefits of having the use of this sideboard several times when I have hosted lunches and dinner parties. It has made the process flow more easily. I don’t know how I managed without it.
