After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:

Multiple flights of stairs
Service elevator restrictions
Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.

Such a beautiful and functional pieceI purchased this desk in the cream color. As with all other furniture pieces I have purchased from Ballard, this did not disappoint. Beautifully made, and in a soft, neutral cream color. When the desk was delivered, it was missing all of the hardware and shelving (It comes assembled, but was supposed to have file guides, shelves, earthquake hardware, and shelf mounts). I thought it was strange that these pieces were missing, but after reading the packing slip, realized that they should have been included. I called customer service, and they got right on it. All of the missing parts were delivered within a week. I was concerned that this would be a big hassle, but it wasn't at all. Thanks, Ballard, for designing a secretary that offers lots of hidden storage, including a file drawer!
Regarding reviews indicating that the wood is soft: Yes, this is a softer wood than some. However, my first Ballard desk was of the same wood, and I used it daily for ten years, with only an occasional ding. Will repaint and pass on to my son for a second life!

A beautiful and functional piece of furnitureThis piece of furniture is even more beautiful than I expected. The drawers and the part that opens up to the desk function extremely smoothly. I splurged on the cost but my husband and I feel it was worth every penny. It looks great in the room and works excelllently as a desk. The delivery was handled extremely professionally.

Classic, functional deskThis is the coolest desk I have ever owned. First, it is beautiful and classic. It is incredibly spacious as it holds my large-monitor computer and a printer. I love the details of built-in holes to run your cords through for tidy electrial hook-up. The two drawers are great -- I use one for supplies and one for files. The two side doors open to function storage with a shelf in each. This fits perfectly in my small den against the wall. When guest are over, I simply close the desk and it is a lovely piece of furniture. Mine is in the gorgeous shade of light blue called "Spa."

Great workhorse yet stylish pieceThis piece works really well in my open concept great room, where I was in need of a family hub/drop zone/quick place to pay a bill or jot a thank you note. The desk is very sturdy and contains all the elements I need such as file cabinet and pull out printer tray. Delivery was simple and the desk was unpacked and placed where I wanted it. It’s Perfect!Had my eye on this desk for a while and very pleased with the purchase! Very sturdy, heavy piece with included adjustable shelves, plenty of covered holes for cord organization, and a mounted power strip complete with 2 USB ports. Black interior will require adding a light source and I added a glass top for surface protection. This piece will also function as a cocktail server when needed! Thank you Ballard for solving my space-issue, multi-functional room needs!

Beautiful pieceThis is a well thought out piece of furniture that hides the fact that it is a desk. Its beautiful. I bought the black. It was packaged very well in the box to prevent damage while shipping. There arr many holes in the back for cords to go through. There are covers on each hole if not in use. The power strip is a nice feature. It has bars in the bottom drawer for hanging folders. And the desk door slowy comes down own its own whennu ooen it up. I love it. U would never know its a desk.
