I have it at my kitchen sink so I am trying to be careful with it to avoid spots/stains. Some reviews have stated about the staining but have not had an issue yet. The design matches any number of styles and the color (blue) is very nice.

The soft blue is a luminous shade that complements many different hues from cornflower to navy. It’s soft and feels luxurious underfoot. Unfortunately it was too delicate for my household so we had to return it. We had it down for a day or so when we noticed a drop sized stain or two which didn't come out with stain remover along with some minor pulls in the fabric. This rug would be better suited to households without dogs or in rooms without much foot traffic. Ballard Designs graciously made the return process painless which was appreciated.

Even small drops stained it, although it was very soft and looked great in our space, and my crew didn't spill a lot. I was able to deal with it until we got a puppy, who absolutely destroyed it. It is like a giant chew toy for her. The threads pull like it is made of yarn. I don't understand how this could be polypropylene.
