If you're not happy, we're not happy. That's where our "Love It or Send It Back" policy comes in. If you're dissatisfied with your Ballard purchase for any reason, you can return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or full refund* (excluding Shipping & Processing fees).

You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Fees

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

Oversized Handling Fee - $20-$40 per item

All shipping charges are based on the original retail price of the product prior to any discounts being applied.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

I am so glad I finally made the purchase.The quality of the wreath was much better than I expected. Like any wreath coming right out of the box, it needed a little fluffing. I am not sure why people are afraid to fluff a wreath, it makes the wreath look fuller as well as more realistic. A little advice, the pine greenery used mimics real pine, handle with care. I used a cheap pair of gloves I use, when fluffing the wreath bases I use to make my Etsy wreaths. The only flaw, I wish the hooks used to hang the wreaths were a little more thought out. I decided it was easier to prop the wreaths up on a little settee I have on my front proch. Added a large outdoor lantern, an outdoor up light light and a few other Christmas accessories.The final look was just what my front porch needed. Simple, yet very classy. I received many compliments from my friends and neighbors!! By the way, the wreath is still in great condition in spite of several winter storms!

When we finished our basement, we finally had the perfect space for the J-O-Y combination. (See pictured.) And everyone who comes through comments on how beautiful these wreaths are. They really do look lifelike. Yet another fabulous purchase from Ballard Designs! :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from N - O - E - L I ordered the letters to spell Noel as my 2 children's names begin with NO and EL so it is a special word for us a Christmas time. I was amazed at the quality and the realistic look of the boughs. These will be hung in our Great Room that had 4 windows across the wall. Of course, I will need to add some ribbon to hang but otherwise I am very happy and I am VERY peculiar with my decorations and style. I am so impressed with the quality of these I will be ordering other garlands for the holidays.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Big Disappointment I had wanted the JOY wreath for years. I finally purchased it in August 2021 so it would be up for a nice long Christmas season. It did not arrive until the first week in December AND a hook broke off of the Y as soon as I hung it. Aside from breaking right away, they aren’t as full or as even looking in person and not at all worth the cost.
