You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic but updated! Great quality to soften a room and add texture. If you have a gray/tan/cream room these will work. One was just slightly longer but I used drapery pins and changed the height that way. You will need to hand steam or iron they will not hang out but it is worth the time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hard to get them to hang smoothly. Very nice fabric and weight. The two panels I ordered were the same length as opposed to others’ experience. Only drawback is I’ve had difficulty getting the sides to hang smoothly, even after steaming them several times. From the top down about 2/3 of the length they look sort of crumpled.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty but overpriced These are very nice weight but Ballard charges a ridiculous amount to ship these and to get just two panels costs nearly $400! While these can be altered with hemming and pleating for a more custom look, the total cost ends up being the same as paying to have drapery panels made from scratch. Just not worth it in the end for what you get here without pleats and in fixed lengths.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Color distortion I just got these today and was a little disappointed in the color. They appear to be a Carmel and gray on ivory drapes in the catalog photo, but it really is more a light and dark taupe..And they are pretty wrinkled looking. I hope I can steam them out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good quality but looks like kitchen tablecloth It is cotton and linen, which is "quality," yes, but heavy and difficult to iron. The ivory/natural curtains look just like kitchen tablecloths that someone hung on the window. The material is bland and has no texture it, no sheen, so it does nothing for the room. It actually cheapens the room, in my opinion, or maybe makes it simpler, but not in an elegant way. Expected way more for the price and based on all the reviews. I tried these in the bedroom and, just, no. Maybe these would be okay in a country kitchen-style space, something with plain wood furniture. They look terrible next to tan/ cream/ brown leather furniture. The ivory color is a bit yellowish (as opposed to a more cool-toned ivory, for example).

They were exactly what I wanted so I tried ordering more to get enough that matched but no luck. I could have “remade” them but they were too expensive to do that much work. I’m awaiting my refund. Women working customer service were awesome, especially Lynn
