Great quality! Great value!I purchased the black bag about 4 months ago. I use it every day for grocery shopping. The bag is so cute, I get compliments all the time. It's also comfortable, holds a lot, has some kind of latex or plastic coating inside that is easy to clean and much more hygenic than canvas bags. There is a zip pocket in the interior where I can store my keys and cash or credit card. Coming back to order more. Would pay double for this kind of quality.

More than just an ordinary toteI truely love my icon tote, in fact I bought an extra one! It has incredible strength, great for a big shopping spree. Unlike other totes, it has a sophisticated look. The color selections are gorgeous and the French icons are very classy. My daughter used hers on her wedding day to transport her personal items to the church.

Attractive and very sturdy.Gave this bag to my daughter-in-laws for Christmas.
It was the last gift and I didn't wrap it because it looked great, so why cover it up. My youngest son, who was getting all the gifts together to take home, said great gift mom. He was able to put so many gifts in the bag and it was so sturdy.
It would be great for shopping trips to the mall and to the market. So happy I bought these. Even got one for myself.

Lovely large tote!I bought 2 black Eiffel Tower and 2 green Bee totes for teacher holiday gifts - gave them along with some candied chocolate covered apples. An out of the ordinary gift for those special teachers that do so much for our kids! These totes are quite large and can carry much more than books and files. The embroidered icon adds a nice touch (rather than it being printed on the tote). I will definitely be back for more next holiday season and will get one for myself this time! Thanks BD!

Roomy ToteI gave the Eiffel Tower tote to my Francophile neice for Christmas and she loves it! She uses it for groceries, laundry and anything else she needs to carry. Besides being roomy and attractive, this is a "green" product that keeps utilization of grocery bags to a minimum. Another Ballard winner!

Love this bag. I wish I bought more.I purchased 3 totes, one of each style. They are fantastic for the price!!! There was no odor as other reviewers talked about. (possibly the odor came from the delivery car, I have had that happen to me before on other fabric purchases from a different catalog.) This bag stands on it's own which is great, we took it on our trip to snow, packed it with all of the gloves, scarves, hats, and it appeared water proof on the inside. So once everything was wet from snow I didn't have to worry about any leakage in the car. The outside is definitely NOT waterproof so I left bag inside hotel room once we took everything out to use. The handles are great and solid leather. I was a bit unsure after opening but it was fantastic on our trip, no complaints I will definitely be taking it on an airplane trip next time with no worries. I gave away the other two as gifts and used them as gift bags tied with a beautiful ribbon and it made a great statement.

This Tote Zips Up!I took advantage of the sale over Christmas and bought a Ballard Design Tote. Wow, I'm glad I did. Even at the regular price they are so worth it. Nice and roomy and you're able to zip it up for security. This has always been the 'glitch' with tote's in my opinion. So, don't hesitate to make a purchase. You can't go wrong!

Great bag - super price!I bought four of these bags for Christmas for the ladies in my family - the Fleur de Lis for my Mom and me, the Bee for my 13-year old daughter and the Eiffel Tower for my sister who is a French teacher. I used them for the overflow of gifts from stockings - everyone loved them, and they doubled as a means to carry all of their "loot" home with them when they returned home!

Perfect gift~Bought 5 of these and kept one, in black with the Eiffel Tower for my "French Market Basket," that I use on Sundays at the Farmers Market. Handles long enough to fit easily over should even when the bag is stuffed with goodies. Everyone who got one was thrilled. Inside of bag is coated to make it sturdier and possibly water-proof....but not certain about that as I haven't had any drips yet. A happy purchase.

I LOVE these totesI ordered these totes last year for Christmas and cannot say enough good things about them. They are the perfect overnight bag. Or gym bag. Or shopping bag, you name it, it works for every occassion. They are very sturdy and comfortable (if you are carrying it on your shoulder). I loved my bag so much, I ordered them again this year. And I got one for everyone on my list. It is a GREAT bargain! I'm only sad I did not order MORE.

Fabulous totes!I use my totes for groceries. Instead of having the store package my groceries in paper or plastic bags - I have them load up the groceries in my three Ballard Design totes. The totes always get compliments from the store employees and others. This tote is not only fashionable, it is very sturdy and durable. That is why I order more for Christmas presents for my friends!
